Restaurant Review: Creative Kitchen at Radisson Indore
Rating: 3.5 Stars
Overall Dining Experience: Fine Dining
During a recent Sunday lunch at Creative Kitchen, located in the Radisson Indore, we found the experience to be pleasant but not without its shortcomings. The per person charge for an adult was approximately INR 1000-1200, which is reasonable for a fine dining establishment. Our party included seven adults and three children, and the restaurant was notably under-occupied, providing a peaceful dining atmosphere.
Ambiance and Seating:
The ambiance of Creative Kitchen is modern and welcoming. Baby seats were available, which is a considerate touch for families dining with young children. The spacious seating arrangement ensured that our large group was comfortably accommodated.
Buffet Spread and Taste:
The buffet at Creative Kitchen offered a wide variety of options spanning Indian, Continental, and Thai cuisines. However, despite the extensive menu, the taste of the dishes was somewhat average. Some highlights included the momos, chicken tikka, and chicken fingers and wings, which were flavorful and well-prepared. On the other hand, the desserts were a letdown, with none of the sampled options meeting our expectations. The pani puri from the chaat stall was acceptable, though the spicy water lacked depth of flavor.
Beverages:
One noticeable downside was the absence of mocktails or beverages. Although the restaurant compensated by offering us five complimentary juices, the limited beverage options were disappointing. Among the three available ice cream flavors, only the chocolate flavor stood out as satisfactory.
Service:
The staff at Creative Kitchen were a high point of our dining experience. They were well-mannered, attentive, and engaged with us throughout our meal. Their professionalism and hospitality contributed positively to our overall impression of the restaurant.
Conclusion:
In summary, Creative Kitchen at Radisson Indore offers a decent fine dining experience with a diverse buffet selection. While some dishes excelled, others fell short in terms of taste. The absence of a broader beverage menu and the limited options within each segment of the buffet were notable drawbacks. However, the courteous staff and comfortable ambiance somewhat compensated for these shortcomings. Given these factors, we rate Creative Kitchen 3.5 stars.

Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at the Radisson Blu Creative Kitchen in Indore. From the initial struggle to book a seat due to unanswered calls, to the lackluster ambiance with hardly any occupied tables, it was far from impressive.
Upon finally securing a table, I was dismayed by the small size that couldn't comfortably accommodate four people. The buffet experience was further marred by cold, bland non-veg starters and tasteless veg options. Despite requesting hot servings, the staff seemed indifferent and merely reheated the dishes without improving the taste.
The main course and desserts were no exception, lacking the expected quality of a 5-star restaurant. The absence of cutlery and bowls for dessert added to the frustration, requiring us to repeatedly ask for basic amenities.
To top it off, the staff displayed a rushed attitude, closing the restaurant promptly at 11 PM and urging us to finish our meal quickly, even though we were still eating at 11:15 PM. This hasty closure gave the impression of a local cafe rather than a hotel restaurant.
Despite numerous other disappointing instances, I won't delve into them to save time. In the end, I paid over 7k for a subpar experience, leaving a sour note on what was supposed to be a special birthday night.
Thank you, Radisson Blu Creative Kitchen, for turning my birthday celebration into a regrettable experience. I'll ensure that neither I nor my friends and family opt for your services...
