Let me start by saying I had the absolute “pleasure” of trying five dishes, each more horrific than the last. I had to return most of it because, apparently, they don’t care much for edible food.
First up, the Continental Sizzler. Now, I wasn’t aware “continental” meant soggy vegetables drenched in a sauce that tasted like someone’s mistake in the kitchen. Sizzling? The only thing sizzling here was my anger.
Then came the Paneer Lababdar, which was more like “Paneer Salt Mine.” I’ve tasted less salt in seawater. Not only was it inedible, but I genuinely believe my taste buds are still recovering from the assault.
But wait—it gets better. I thought, "Let’s give them another chance," and ordered Pav Bhaji, because seriously, how do you mess that up? Well, this place found a way! The pav was stale, and the bhaji? It tasted like they ran out of spices and flavor but threw in some bitterness just to keep things interesting.
The fact that they can ruin something as basic as Pav Bhaji should be studied in culinary schools as a lesson on what not to do. Kudos to the chef for setting the bar so low that tripping over it would be a challenge!
