Hotel Dhangarwada Family Garden — Restaurant in Maharashtra

NO VALUE FOR MONEY, NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED, NOT EVEN TO MY ENEMIES.

My brother In law visited this hotel first. His feedback was that food quality is very average. But as this hotel is situated right next to my building, today evening I decided to pay a visit.

Since we already has this bad review from my foodie brother in law, we consciously decided to give it a try so we ordered the combo of chicken thali.

Service - 1 out of 5 - the order was taken promptly within 10 minutes of our arrival. Food was served within 20 minutes. But the waiter did not ask us for water. Table has nothing on it except the menu card 😂.

Food quality - 0 out of 5 Test was missing, rassa was good, but we found insect in jeera rice. When we showed it to the waiter is simply cared to take the dish back to the kitchen. No apology, nothing ! I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THIS. I I asked for extra chapati to be served hot as the single chapati which I received with thali was cold. Even chicken sukka was not upto the mark. My daughter has to come back at home and eat the food again as she could not eat the rice with insect in it.

Pricing & Menu - 0 out of 5 - Don't do the same mistake what we did today, amazingly the chicken thali has only three chicken pieces.. that to you have to eat with a single chapati/bhakri. Can't find any logic behind this menu planning. The hotel expect their guest to dine on three chicken pieces with one single chapati.

Ambience - 1.5 out of 5 People go out to eat for a change, in my case this was a nightmare, as the food quality missing, taste was on toss quantity was very low.

I think the management believes in ambience then that of giving value for money to customers. Ambient lighting was present. Customised cabins were normal. NOT EVEN THE APOLOGY WAS OFFERED FROM THE PERSON SITTING ON COUNTER 🤣, THE BEST THING HE COULD DO WAS TO REMOVE THE JEERA RICE CHARGES...

Hotel Dhangarwada, is beautifully decorated and well arranged Maharashtrian styled hotel with most of Maharashtrian food available. Hotel provides Indian traditional dining style where you sit on ground. Even dining table options are available and some private cabins are also present where you can spend private time with your loved ones. Space is quite big and music options as your request. Ambiance- 4.5/5 Food- We ordered thali and some veg food. Taste of food was, but roti was not so soft. But overall food was great - 4.5/5. Roti and bhakris are also available. ] Avdhut Ranmale: I had a recent dining experience that was shockingly bad. The food was poorly presented and tasted terrible. The service was also awful.
