Detailed Review of Purnabramha Restaurant, Thergaon, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune
Location and Parking: Purnabramha is situated in the bustling area of Thergaon, Pimpri-Chinchwad, making it easily accessible for locals and visitors. One of its key advantages is the ample parking space available. The restaurant can comfortably accommodate 7-8 four-wheelers and has plenty of room for two-wheelers, which is a big plus in a city where parking is often a hassle.
Ambience: The ambience, however, leaves much to be desired. While the restaurant is spacious and airy, the current furniture is substandard and detracts from the overall dining experience. The chairs and tables seem outdated and lack comfort, which might be disappointing for patrons expecting a more refined setup. Investing in better-quality furniture and adding some aesthetic decor would significantly enhance the overall vibe of the place. The management should prioritize this improvement to match the quality of their food offerings.
Food Quality: The highlight of Purnabramha is undoubtedly its food. The unique selling point is that all dishes are prepared using pressed (Lakdi Ghana) oil, which is not only healthier but also adds a distinctive taste to the food. • Starters: We ordered Veg 65 and Mushroom Chilli. The starters were decent but could be better in terms of flavor and presentation. They didn’t stand out as much as the main course did. • Main Course: The main course items were exceptional. Both the Paneer Lababdar and Veg Maharaja were rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection. The paneer was soft and fresh, while the Veg Maharaja had a delightful blend of spices that worked well together. These dishes are highly recommended. • Soups: Among the soups, the Chinese soups were flavorful and satisfying. However, the Veg Clear Soup was average and lacked the depth of flavor one would expect. Improving this dish could make the soup menu more consistent.
Service: The service was impressive, with orders being taken promptly and food arriving at the table without unnecessary delays. The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Value for Money: Considering the quality of food and the use of healthier pressed oil, the prices are reasonable. The quick service further adds value, making it a practical choice for a meal with friends or family.
Final Thoughts: Purnabramha is a great option for those who prioritize healthy and tasty food. While the main dishes and service are commendable, the restaurant needs to focus on enhancing its ambience and improving certain menu items like the starters and Veg Clear Soup. With a little more effort on the decor and seating, it could become a go-to destination for family gatherings and casual outings.
Overall Rating: • Food: 4/5 • Ambience: 2.5/5 • Service: 4/5 • Value for Money: 4/5

Read moreFood taste and quality is great. They use oil from their own Ghana is what I heard from their owners. Service is quick. I believe there is room for improvement in the ambience.
When you enter the hotel, it doesn't look fresh or inviting, mostly because of the colours used, the table cloth etc.
May be they could light some diyas i.e Samai, to increase aesthetics and theme. Add some warm color lights. Change the colour of table cloths. Change the wall colour behind the Surya and 7 horses paintings. May be make it light orange. We also have a Surya painting at home and the orange background and the yellow lights make it look special. Make it an inviting theme.
The small rooms at the beginning also don't look inviting.
If you'd want to bring your guests to a restaurant possibly some people might hesitate since people also look for ambience to take the guests.
They could do some small changes like using GM 3 colour tubelights. Warm colours and Diyas - Samai. They already have a paintings of Sun and their 7 horses. The intention is right. Make the look of the restaurant to feel a little more pleasing like a temple.
I even met the owners they were really very friendly and homely to talk to. They said they use the oil from their own Lakdi Ghana, and the ingredients are also fresh.

Read moreThe restaurant is quite well maintained and has ample parking space , also the wait time is very low as there was a very low crowd . Don't expect anything more than an average meal as the food taste here is average or I can say below average just for example I ordered panneer butter masala I know the taste of the dish is little on the sweet side but we I actually ate the dish it was like all sugar saus 🥲 then tandoori rooti was also not as offered from any restaurant in the city.the only good thing is it's a pure veg restaurant. I would suggest you to visit only if you don't have any other option or if visiting with family kids and you live nearby. Because in the same budget there are lots of better options available in the area.
Ps:
Afterall it's everyone's personal taste and preference. it's just my experience if you agree with me like...
