Biryani By Kilo is the cloud kitchen which serves varieties of Biryani on kg basis (minimum half kg) apart they do serves kebabs, kormas and desserts. It stand unique as they serves biryani in Handi in which it got cooked along with 'The Aanch" to keep it warm till they serves on plate.
In this pandemic situation most of the restaurant do taking care of safety precautions and trying to give there best to serve us. Henceforth, BBK follow all the safety guidelines provide by WHO.
I ordered and tasted few of them, so here what is best.
CHICKEN SEEKH KEBAB
It was done to perfection, the kebab was moist, soft and juicy. It was spiced up with chopped green chillies, little aroma of garam masala and little sweetness from onion. The best goes with mint chutney serves along with it, but mint chutney had slightly tangy because of yoghurt. Recommend to try out this.
MURGH HYDERABADI DUM BIRYANI
Long grains of basmati rice with succulent piece of chicken. Chicken pieces was very well flavoured with gentle touch of garam masala and caramelized onions, balance of spice level, well tenderized piece of meat with touch of yoghurt and easily pricked. As soon as pot opened the gentle aroma waft around. The bite of biryani described all how beautifully it was crafted and enjoyable till very end. It is the Biryani for those who love the mild spicy and aromatic flavor.
Accompanied with Mirchi ka Salan but it was disappointing as it had raw smell and taste of peanuts. Need some improvement here.
Highly recommended to try out this.
MATKA PHIRNI
After such lovely meal if you get the best dessert what more you want, yes the best desserts and honestly words are less to describe the experience of this MATKA PHIRNI. It was done to perfection, creamy and grainy texture with touch of saffron and alomnds. Rice was cooked so perfectly in milk with saffron touch as it can be clearly sense while having it. The only thing I had done was just put little of it in mouth and rest the phirni had done the work to make me happy 😁. Most highly recommended to check the phirni here.
Well speaking about the packing it was done too good, no spillage or leakage. Delivered to me on time and delivery guy had taken all the safety precaution even the hand sanitize before handling to us.
This one has became now my favorite biryani not to forget phirni will soon check the others...

Been hearing a lot about this relatively new brand of Biryani in town – Biryani by Kilo so this past Sunday, on Father’s Day, we decided to order for ourselves.
Ordering via Zomato was simple and painless and within minutes, my order was accepted.
All the items were neatly packed and delivered without any spillage.
The biryani and phirni were delivered sealed in earthen pots to retain the character and flavor of the matka. In fact, the biryani was cooked as well in that same pot they delivered it in. They also packed an earthen angeethi (aanch) with the order to give the last bit of dum for the perfect smoky flavor and aroma of spices when we dig in to our biryani. Talk about covering all bases. Impressive, right off the bat.
While the argument over the existence of “veg” biryani (or “pulao” as the carnivores would like to term it) is as old as biryani itself; I would refrain from indulging in it, rather focus on the flavors and taste of what was in front of me. 😊
The Veg. Galouti Kebab were delicious, and their melt-in-mouth consistency was top-notch. The mint chutney provided as an accompaniment complemented the flavors perfectly.
Made using basmati rice, the Veg. Hyderabadi Biryani was extremely flavorsome and the mirch ka saalan provided along with, also added another layer of texture and flavor to the biryani.
However, the Matka Phirni was the show-stealer for me. A perfect consistency and the sweetness too was on-point.
The dishes are made to order and are not reheated, which explains the freshness as well as the inclusion of the stand to reheat it at customer’s end.
All in all, a wonderful meal and Biryani By Kilo now ranks highly on my...
Read moreFirst of all the packaging is sooooooo impressive, am I right?? You just feel so safe when restaurants like this take such good care of their food following the protocols to conduct business during this quarantine times. Cloth bags with zip tied locks insuring Noone touches the food right? Not just a tape or anything. You get mutka firni in an actual mutka which is exceptionally beautiful. Then you get your biryani in a clay pot with a clay pot warmer, inside they give tiny candles which u can light and keep it in the pot warmer. Which surprisingly works just fine! Best part is you can a actually use these pots later for cooking something or to set dahj. Let's talk about the food. I judge a biryani by the chicken being cooked thoroughly and how well spices are used to give a unique flavor overall to set itself apart from other types. Chicken was cooked perfectly, the caramelized onions were amazing, spices were balanced enough that I ddnt feel the need to have sides with that like the salaan, Salaan I had seperately cuz it was just soo flavorful kinda like kadhi but still different and soooo amazing next time. I'm definitely gonna go for another takeaway nd will ask for extra salaan 😋. Now let's talk about the kebabs. Most of the times kebabs outside are under marinated, but this one omg ❤️ so well marinated that I just couldn't stop eating, I kid you not. I don't have a sweet tooth but still this firni is good enough for people who don't love sweets but still its just sweet enough like how firni is supposed to be! Let's rate this place :- Food :-5/5 Packaging 5/5 Vfm 5/5(cuz u also get clay posts also) Overall- 5/5 A must try is...
