Looking for a place to hang out with your friends after college/work? Then Cafe Uniq Aroma is a really good place to visit. The place is located near Akurdi Railway Station(at a walking distance from the station). This place is located in the vicinity of colleges and tuition classes so it is easily accessible for college students.
Food: 4/5
If you are looking for a quick snack then there are a lot of options available on the menu. We tried out the Paneer Veg Cheese Sandwich and BBQ Paneer Cheese Pouch. The sandwich was properly grilled and the taste was simply amazing. It had a really good stuffing of vegetables and it tasted really good. This place serves its own unique dish i.e Pouches, the BBQ Paneer Cheese Pouch was stuffed with Paneer and a lot of other vegetables and had Barbeque Sauces on top of it. The taste was lip-smacking and unique. Both Sandwich and Pouches had sufficient quantity at a very pocket-friendly price. In beverages, we had ordered Hazelnut Frappe and Irish Mocha. The Hazelnut Frappe had a really good taste and aroma of Hazelnut to it. The Irish Mocha had a really good visual impact and was tasty. The whipped cream used is fresh and of good quality.
Service: 4/5
The owner of the place is very warm towards the customers and also helps to choose from the menu according to your food preference. The service was pretty good and didn't have to wait for the order to come. Overall a good experience.
Ambience: 3/5 The place is simple yet has a good vibe. The seating arrangement is also fine but if a little work is done on the ambience then it will be an even bigger hit among the youngsters.
Overall a decent place for college going students to hang out as you get good quality food and a...

I know this guy, he is a chef and worked in Miami Florida US and on Cruiser ships as well as a chef. Lot of experience in Western food.
He serves lot of varieties in food in his cafe. He does lot of experiments in his Receipes to accommodate Indian tastes. Veg as well as non-vegetarian dishes are equally good.
The most important thing in his cafe is his smile, the etiquette and manners. His friendly attitude and the way he welcomes you makes you comfortable and happy.
He is positive and even if he doesn't have what you want he is sure to offer you something you would like to try and will never regret.
Very simple but friendly interior and ambience for individuals, friends, couples or even for girlfriend.
Arrangements for mobile charging or to plug in your laptops and start studying or meeting or work. A meeting point for friend circle. I have tried this all along with my coffee and breakfast.
The Pastas and coffees are great here and my favorite. All the ingredients are genuine and fresh. Quantities enough to feel your appetite. Every thing is worth for what you pay for.
Very reasonable rates and usual payments facilities. Parking for both two and four wheelers is no problem. Many competitors came and gone but with his reputation he is still in the market firmly . He is also associated with Zomato and similar chains in delivering food items.

Read moreThe location on Google Maps is incorrect. This place is also called Cafe Aroma and not Cafe Uniq Aroma. It's near Kerala Bhavan and directly opposite the Income Tax Office, Akurdi. The food is downright terrible. I came for dinner and ordered the Paneer Garlic Chilli Noodles, and it was absolutely bland and void of flavour. It cost me Rs 180, which I think is exorbitant for the quality served. The ketchup is served in sachets. The ambience is poorly maintained, and generally feels dusty and dilapidated. The music is unpleasant with loud 90's bollywood music blaring from the speakers - not sure if anybody else apart for the chef (who is the only staff at this place) enjoys it. Avoidable cafe (if you can even call it one.)
Update : The reply from the owner should give you an idea of the kind of cafe you're dealing with. Please read it to understand how he/she responds to reviews on Google Maps. Reducing the review to 1 star since the cafe showed that they were not apologetic for the poor food, but wants to guilt shame their customers...
