I just loved the place, food and hospitality of the staff here, especially aunty and bhayya there. Being a telugu guy living in Mumbai I was badly missing the typical Andhra tiffins (breakfast) and lunch as the place where I live in Mumbai doesn't have any good places to have such food. So, when I planned my Shirdi trip I made up my mind to have Andhra tiffins and lunch as I knew there would good Telugu restaurants in Shirdi given the huge number of Telugu devotees of Baba. So, after my darshan I just searched for a good Telugu restaurant and came across this restaurant which already had got good reviews. I went there for dinner and had sumptuous Telugu meal with pappu, sambhar, one dry curry, cabbage fry, pachallu (pickles), podis (powders like groundnut etc) which was truly amazing and next day went there to have morning breakfast (tiffin) and had typical Andhra style, gaare (medu wada), idli, podi dosa and poori with all those podis and chutneys. They have hotel rooms also, so next time I will make it a point that I stay there so that I can get that Telugu home feeling which I am missing staying here in Mumbai. In fact, that whole street is full of Telugu hotels which gave me a good feeling of being to Telugu locality. If you are in Shirdi, then don't miss visiting this place for some awesome tiffins and lunch which can be made only by...
┬а┬а┬аRead moreWe have been to this place after seeing the positive reviews for a pure vegetarian restaurant. But this is not up to the mark. If it is Just for the sake of having South Indian food in Shirdi, then may be one can try this place.
Since we went there for dinner, it is clearly visible that the food served is not fresh. If it was during the morning hours, it might be good.
Only dosa, masala dosa, utappam and south indian meals were available when we were there. In South Indian meals, they served lemon rice, tomato dal, cauliflower curry, ridge gourd curry, sambar, rasam, papad, potato curry which was called as chips there, curd and gulab jamun.
Of all these items, the only item that's worth trying was sweet. Even curd is not good. Dal with the potato curry tasted better. Nothing else is worth the try.
Bottle for mineral water was already open and there was no action even after mentioning the same.
Also, We found strands of hair in multiple items.
Overall, if you are in Shirdi and want to have some South Indian food badly, and can manage with average taste, only then, visit this...
┬а┬а┬аRead moreThe best Andhra food in town! I was here for lunch with my family and friends who suggested this vegetarian restaurant. The all-you-can-eat meals will make you enjoy every bite of the food. There were a few varieties of rice powders(I wish I could remember it all) available on the table, along with pickles. I happened to try it all and liked all of it. The dal, sambar, rasam, vegetables got served one after the other. The lineup of food filled me up just by looking at them. All the dishes tasted delicious! I must say, this was one of the best lunches I've had in recent times. The service was quick, and their staff was polite throughout his service. For the quality of food and service they offer, their pricing for the meals(тВ╣160/person) is very reasonable. The restaurant is located away from the busy streets in Shirdi. So, you'll have a peaceful ambiance here. I'll definitely visit this restaurant during my trips to Shirdi in the future. If you are looking to get some delicious and authentic Andhra food that tastes like home food, do visit this place and...
