Dwarkamai

Before Sai Baba arrived in Shirdi, Dwarkamai was an old mosque in a dilapidated condition. Baba turned it into Dwarkamai and proved that there is only one God. Dwarkamai comprises a portrait of Baba and a big Shila or stone tablet where Baba would often sit. Another remarkable feature of this mosque is the perpetual Dhuni or fire that was lit by Baba when he was alive. The ash from the burnt wood from this Dhuni is divine and sacred, and it can cure any illness of Baba’s devotees and visitors. In another portion of Dwarkamai is a square stool made of stone, which Baba used for taking a bath. The primary attraction of this place is an oil painting of Sai Baba. There is also a grinding stone and a wooden vessel called Kolamba in which Baba used to keep the alms brought from the village. Baba would lovingly call Dwarkamai as his mother because he would feel contented and blissful when seated here.

Dwarkamai Masjid in Shirdi Dwarkamai Masjid is the holy place where Shirdi Sai Baba lived for a period of 60 years. The mosque has a Shila (Stone), on which Sai Baba used to sit. Also, Shirdi Sai Baba lit the Sacred Fire (Dhuni) at the mosque which always keeps burning. When Sai Baba resided at the mosque, he used to give all his devotees Sacred Udi (Ash) which was believed to have the powers to cure any kind of suffering. Sai Baba also used to prepare food for distribution to the devotees in the mosque.

In the mosque, one can find oil paintings of Sai Baba which are the main highlights of the mosque. The area of the mosque is divided into two levels. The first level has a big portrait of Sai Baba and a big stone, which is believed to be the place where Sai Baba used to sit. The other area has two rooms which have a palki and chariot. There is also a large square stool which is believed to be the stool where Sai...

Dwarkamai Shirdi

Dwarkamai Shri Sai Baba came to Shirdi with a marriage procession. Lord Sai baba stayed at Dwarkamai till the very end of his life. Dwarkamai is situated on the right of the entrance of Samadhi Mandir. Here god sai baba solved problems of the people, cured their sickness and worries. Before Baba's arrival in Shridhi, Dwarkamai was an old mosque in a dilapidated condition. Baba turned it into Dwarkamai and proved that God is one. The first level of Dwarkamai has a portrait of Baba and a big stone on which Baba used to sit. This level has two rooms. One contains the chariot and the second a palkhi. Just in front of the room where the chariot is kept is a small temple. A saffron flag flies over it. The second level of Dwarkamai has a square stool made of stone, which Baba used for taking a bath. Dwarkamai : Dwarkamai is a place where Sai Baba lived until the very end of his life. Before Sai Baba’s arrival in Shirdi, this place used to be a mosque in poor conditions. Later, Sai turned it into Dwarkamai where he started healing, curing ill people. He solved all their problems and helped them with solutions to their worries. Here at Dwarkamai, there are two levels. Level one has two rooms with Sai’s portrait and a huge rock on which he used to sit. While level two has a square shaped stool made of stone, which Sai is believed to have used for bathing. The highlight of Dwarkamai is an oil painting of Sai Baba in which he is sitting on a wooden carved shrine. Location: Pimpalwadi Road, Rahata, Near Samadhi Mandir. Timings: Monday to Sunday - 5:30 am to 9:45 pm.

Dwarkamai in Shirdi stands as an embodiment of spiritual unity and compassion, where Sai Baba, revered as a saint, dwelled. This sacred abode transcends religious boundaries, welcoming all seeking solace. With its humble stone walls echoing tales of Sai Baba's miracles and teachings, it emanates an aura of profound tranquility. Visitors experience a sense of divine grace, witnessing the perpetually burning sacred fire and the dhuni (holy fireplace) Sai Baba tended to. Dwarkamai, a testament to Sai Baba's teachings of love, empathy, and harmony, remains a revered sanctuary, imparting a timeless message of faith and universal acceptance to all who visit. Must Visit for Saibaba devotees

Dwarkamai is the most important place to see by every devotee. In the entrance left side we saw the sai baba cooking place and sai baba's hand resting place on the wall. We observe that 3 feet of one wooden stick of sai baba. After that we saw the dhuni covered with grills. In the past we touched and some grains were put in the dhuni but we con't touch it. We saw all the items of sai baba used. Please observe the deepam holes on the wall of dwarkmai. Sai baba lights the lamps with water when no one gives the oil that night. At last we saw the sai baba sitting stone covered with glass We touched it on the glass and pray for peace of mind.
