Hotel Reddy, located conveniently on Nagar-Manmad Road and just about a kilometer from the Sai Baba Temple, offers a comfortable and budget-friendly stay for pilgrims and travelers. It’s a simple yet reliable option that blends homely hospitality with satisfying food.
The ambiance is modest but neat. Rooms are clean and come with basic amenities like air conditioning, hot water, and room service. While the interiors aren’t luxurious, they’re functional and suited for short to medium stays. Some minor improvements in linen and maintenance could enhance the experience further, but overall, it's comfortable and decent.
One of the highlights of Hotel Reddy is its in-house restaurant, which is especially popular for its South Indian meals. From dosas to full Andhra-style thalis, the food feels fresh, flavorful, and homely. It's a great option for travelers from southern India who are looking for familiar tastes. North Indian and Chinese items are also available, offering variety for different preferences.
Service is warm and efficient. The staff is helpful and courteous, often going out of their way to assist guests with local directions or temple timings. The proximity to the Sai Temple makes it a practical choice for devotees.
The only areas for improvement would be consistency in room upkeep and slightly faster room service during peak hours.
Overall, Hotel Reddy is a dependable 4-star stay in Shirdi, especially for those seeking comfort, good food, and proximity to spiritual landmarks without burning a hole in...
Read moreExtremely Disappointing Experience
The negative reviews about Hotel Reddy are, unfortunately, very accurate — and my recent stay only confirmed that.
The ambience, cleanliness, and professionalism are severely lacking. Room service is completely absent, and even after multiple follow-ups, you're either ignored or given false assurances with no action taken.
What’s promised during booking is not what’s delivered, and worse, you're asked to pay for services that were never provided.
The owner, in particular, is shockingly rude and unprofessional. Age without basic manners is no excuse, and it’s clear that money is prioritized over guest experience.
Since I was traveling with my family, I chose not to escalate the situation over a few bucks — peace was more important. But the overall experience was deeply disappointing, especially when all you're looking for is a safe, clean, and respectful place to stay.
Avoid this place if you value your comfort, dignity, and overall...
Read moreThe rooms are biggest let down, there's no hygiene in bathrooms and bed linen are dirty. Things in the room are dirty and nothing works except fan and light. Hot water only comes for few hours in the morning. The price for rooms is negotiable from 700 to 1100 and might go up by one or two hundred as per the demand. The location is also far from the temple about 1.7 KM. There are pigeons at the windows that keep making irritating sound and poop at the windows. There's no proper generator that auto kicks in case of power failure and mostly the staff won't turn on the generator during the day. The AC remote doesn't work and the prime control is at the reception and they can turn on or off the AC without our knowledge. The only breather is the attached restaurant that serves food at decent rates that...
