Hotel Sangrilla near Sambhaji chowk has been quite popular for Chinese food. I had assumed that Sangrilla Ravet must be it's another branch with better and family friendly ambience. Also, it was nearer to my home. So decided to visit it but when I actually did, I got disappointed with overall experience.
The chairs were full of dust. When I pointed it out, the servers/helpers didn't clean it, but just suggested to take another table that came with cushioned chairs. However, those chairs were not so comfortable, so we moved back to the earlier table and dusted off the seats with tissue paper ourselves.
We ordered the basics.. Veg Manchow soup, Veg Schezwan and Mushroom hakka noodles. (Due to some religious reasons we are supposed to follow vegetarian diet for few months)I specifically told them to use less oil. The Manchow soup was okay and probably the only dish that didn't exactly disappoint. After that, instead of veg Schezwan, they brought veg Manchurian, which I sent back. While the actual dish was being prepared, they brought Mushroom hakka noodles and we had to start with the main course before the starter. The noodles, on it's own, were totally bland. They got cold in no time. The vegetables used in them didn't seem fresh at all. The Schezwan chutney wasn't prepared in the restaurant, they served the packaged one, which was pathetic. Overall it was a disaster. Then finally came the starter but the server shocked us by uttering, 'chicken Schezwan'. I expressed my annoyance thinking we would have to send it back again. But thankfully the captain arrived immediately and yelled at the server and corrected that it's veg Schezwan only. We got relieved but for few seconds only. The dish had good portion size but the quality was pathetic. It was very oily despite my instructions and also it was below average in taste. All the vegetables and paneer were not fresh. We quit after trying some pieces, paid the bill and left.
Will never...
Read moreFood quality degrading day by day. They are sending free veg soup even when asked not to and this is the quality of their veg soup. They are just dumping garbage at customers places so they have to throw out themselves. I ordered murgh musallam it was tasteless and the worst i had ever tasted because it was just grinded paste no masala flavour or spicy in it. They didnt even add salt to it so please why are you doing like this? and butter naan and garlic naan both the naans had cold spot where they where not properly cooked and not buttered properly. I have ordered veg food from them many times sometimes they make good sometimes they just send you without masala and spice. Only thing i used to like is they use very less to none food colour and use peanut/shengdana oil which gives a extra good taste to food. But all this is changing and quality is degrading day by day. Please hire improve and dont send stupid things along with orders🙏 most tasty thing in my order was chinese chutney and chopsuey chivda. Also keeping 1 star because you sending fresh onions and using less...
Read moreFood is ok ok. I visited there day before yesterday just for soup I had to wait for 30 mins and another 40 mins for food. Worst service experience in my life. Not only me but other customers were frustrated. We were hungry so went straight to the restaurant from office, we literally had to wait an hour for food. We reached there at 8 and we were out from there at 9:50 so much was the delay in service that too we had just ordered 1 soup and 1 tripple fried rice. I heard my neighbouring customer saying to the waiter "Forget my order, What ever is ready just bring it, it's almost an hour since we ordered." And beverages are very costly, for 1 bottle of pepsi outside it is 30 rupees, here they...
