Kolhapuri Katta — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Hello, Kolhapuri Katta..😍 As name suggest, its been my "Katta" for last almost 5 years since it was at its old location. Ambience: As u enter the hotel, u get welcome by small plants on both sides. Feels nice. It also has chairs arranged for waiting people. Inside the hotel it is spread widely with comfortable seating arrangment for dining in people. My most fav part of ambience is the photo of Rankala Lake from Kolhapur on the wall. Its with them since their old location. My Ratings: 4 Stars

Service: Good. Staff is very supportive. You get your food fast too. Staff suggests you if you are new to hotel and asks for help. My Ratings: 4 Stars

Cleanliness: Good. All the plates and glasses are clean and washed properly whenever new servings are there. Was basins are sometimes not washed, bt due to large inflow of customers it might be the issue. Bt otherwise its good.

Food: Wow.. its always a treat to have food here. Chicken fry, chicken Sholey Kabab, chicken tangdi kabab, tambda pandhara rassa, Katta Special thali and much more. Veg food is also available bt people mostly come for Thali. Tambda rassa looks spicy bt its nt. It just gives u that warmness in your stomoch. Pandhara rassa is authentic Kolhapuri. They serve Bhakri and Chapati with thali. If you have good appetite you can easily have 2 chapatis.(they serve 3😉😉). You should also try their Chicken Tikka Biryani. You will like it. And finally you cn end your food with a glass of Solkadhi. My Ratings: 4 Stars

Dilevary: They have tied up with almost all major food dilevary apps. So you dont have to worry about it.

The speciality is 🐔 chicken. But the best piece is PANDHARA RASSA, tambda rassa too is good but you will love the pandhara rassa. You won't regret your time and 💰 money on visiting here. Best suited dish to order could be a Thali instead of going for handi n all. Starter you can have anything but for main course I would recommend the Thali. Chapati here is quite good n you can prefer it over bhakari. The Thali includes 🍚 rice so you won't need to spend additional on it. The place is easily accessible n is on Google maps too. It's hardly 2-3 hundred metres from swargate-katraj main road. The place has scope for two wheeler parking but didn't see any space for 4 wheeler, so be careful. The staff here is also nice. I personally prefer it whenever I wish to have worthy food considering chicken. Smoking n drinks are not allowed here so you can get here with your family and kid's as well. Rest assured you can definitely give it a try.

The owner has instructed servers to openly lie to customers. We visited this restaurant recently and wanted to try their pandhra rassa which was a part of their Thali. We had confirmed earlier that we want pandhara rassa specifically in the Thali so the waiter said it's included. Then that waiter disappeared and the Thali was brought by some other waiter without the pandhra rassa and told me it'll take 45 mins to get pandhara rassa. We rejected the order and asked the owner to justify the wrongdoing. The owner was like we can't say no to customers else they will go somewhere else.
