I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mhavra - The Malvani Fish House, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations when it comes to seafood delights. This hidden gem is a paradise for seafood lovers, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving an authentic Malvani culinary experience.

The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the fish starter. The restaurant offers a tantalizing array of options, each showcasing the freshness and flavor of the sea. From crispy fried calamari to succulent prawn kebabs, every bite was a burst of maritime bliss. The fish was perfectly cooked, retaining its tenderness and complemented by a delightful blend of spices that enhanced its natural taste.

The star of the menu, however, was the Surmai thali. It was a feast fit for a seafood connoisseur. Recently we visited Mhavra – The Malavani Fish House! We ordered the Prawns Thali and Bangda Fish Thali – both were full of authentic Malvani flavor, but we personally liked the prawns thali a bit more. The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked. A big bonus: they serve unlimited solkadi, which was refreshing and delicious!

The food is not just tasty, it’s also reasonably priced, which is a big plus. You really get good value here.

The ambiance is aesthetic and cozy, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. Plus, the staff is super polite and quick with service,which made our visit even better.

Definitely recommend this spot if you’re into good seafood and want to enjoy a laid-back...

Visited this restaurant for lunch and enjoyed the seafood. Had ordered fish fry (masala & rawa) out of which masala fry was good but rawa fry was just fish with a coating of rawa & without much seasoning. Crab masala had a flavourful taste, also prawns curry was very good with big prawns and sufficient quantity for 2. Preparations cannot be called 100% authentic but you will love the taste. Pricing is reasonable and not too overpriced. Ambience is okay-ish and is located in a residential area so no specific parking available but can be done across the street on any nearby lane.
