THE LOCATION IS SUPER CONVENIENT, RIGHT NEAR THE CAVES, MAKING IT A GREAT SPOT TO GRAB A BITE AFTER EXPLORING. THE AMBIANCE IS SIMPLE AND CLEAN, WITH A NICE VIEW OF THE SURROUNDING HILLS, WHICH ADDS TO THE EXPERIENCE. THE MENU OFFERS A DECENT VARIETY OF INDIAN DISHES, WITH SOME MAHARASHTRIAN SPECIALTIES THAT HIT THE SPOT. WE TRIED THE THALI, AND THE PORTIONS WERE GENEROUS, THOUGH THE TASTE WAS MORE HOMELY THAN GOURMET. THE SERVICE WAS PROMPT, AND THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, THOUGH IT CAN GET A BIT CROWDED DURING PEAK TOURIST HOURS. PRICES ARE REASONABLE FOR A TOURIST SPOT, BUT DON’T EXPECT ANYTHING TOO FANCY. This is the only restaurant here. Next restaurant you will find is 5 to 6 km away from the cave entrance. Even Ajanta T Point Resort doesn't serve lunch. Food we ordered was veg and non veg thali which were quite tasty. They serve rice, dal, mix veg fry, 3 chapati, sabji and curd which are enough for a single person. Recommended restaurant.

The best option for having lunch after completing Ajanta Caves. You are coming down tired and it is almost lunch time and the next option you are going to get is the shopping complex at the entry, so in my opinion this is the best option. Food : good. Cleanliness is just perfect. Ambiance: good Location : superb Service : need improvement.

You are coming down tired and it is almost lunch time and the next option you are going to get is the shopping complex at the entry, so in my opinion this is the best option. Food : good. On the day of Christmas 24th Dec 2023 Ajantha cave was crowded bcz of continues holiday. At 6:00pm in the evening the only govt bus are available to drop up and to pick that bus nearly 2hrs long queue was der at site bcz of rush. In such condition we don't have a food for our 8 month baby and der is only one restaurant of MTDC Foothill and at that time the kitchen of restaurant already closed bcz of all food wer sold out. Our baby was crying bcz of hunger. The manager and people of the restaurant were reopen the kitchen and served the hot milk and bread to our baby without a single cost. What an humanity and kind...

After a long day at the Ajanta caves we were extremely hungry and decided to eat at mtdc foothill restaurant. We ordered four thalis for the five of us including a kid and it was totally worth it. We had to wait for a bit as there was quite a rush. But the food quality was really good. And the quantity was satisfactorily sufficient. We had hot tasty meals right when we needed it. Moreover the manager provided us with his personal hotspot for UPI payment as we didn't have any cash. And the whole area doesn't have internet network. We had a lovely lunch and would...
