Hi, I had visited Spice Tawa Family Restaurant, Somani Trade Center, Pune on 30/12/2022 to dine with my family and let me tell you it was one of the worst experiences of my life. The ambience was great, no doubt, but the service was pathetic. The staff was undertrained, indifferent and totally unprofessional. We were served Chicken Shorba Soup, which was sour and not good to taste. It was served cold and we had to requested the staff to warm it up. Initially, we thought it was a one-off case. Again, we had requested for warm water and they served us cold water instead. The staff literally forgot about our request and I began wondering if we landed at the right place. We ordered Murg Irani Tikka, and realized that the chicken pieces were undercooked. The shock of our life came when we were served Chicken Dum Biryani which was stale, smelly and had gone bad. It smelled so bad that I felt like throwing up and immediately got up, paid the bill and left. The staff was unapologetic, though they offered us with one more serving. We were in no mood to eat any further. The staff was only worried if I would pay the bill or not. I paid Rs 656 for the trash that was served to us.

I felt cheated, disgusted and was extremely annoyed as I could not enjoy the evening with my family. I would never ever visit this place and would advice all gentry to avoid going to this restaurant. One of worst restaurants in this area. I had gone with my family recently and had an extremely bad experience. The staff behaved indifferently to customers and they were taking lots of time to get simple stuff to the table. I had ordered for Biriyani and it was stale, smelling bad. The ambience is just okay. You will waste your time and money. By the way, staff was not ready to even acknowledge that the food was bad. When I complained the staff said that they will get a fresh one made, but it will take more than 30 minutes to get it to the table. Meanwhile, another staff got the billing machine because she was worried that we could leave without paying the bill. Avoid visiting this restaurant at all costs. You can choose the marination option and order any fish. We tried pomfret fish in Chettinad style and the prawn is butter garlic oriental style. Both dishes were good.
