Recently visited Squee and Spoon Capybara, and let me just say — Panvel’s dining scene just levelled up. We tried three dishes, and each one was a hit.
The Prawns Dimsum was delicately flavourful, a great start to the meal. The California Roll was just perfect — balanced, fresh, and satisfying. And the Asian Herb Bao? Soft, cushiony, and filled with goodness. You could tell thought and technique had gone into every bite.
The vibe of the restaurant is grand — a lovely surprise in this part of town. A special shoutout to Fabian, who took excellent care of us throughout. We also had the chance to meet Balaji, the owner, which only added to the warm, personal experience. The hospitality here is top notch.
The only hiccup is the parking situation, which we’ve been reassured is being worked on. Fingers crossed that gets sorted soon, because a place this good deserves an even smoother experience from the moment you arrive.

Read moreWe visited Squee Spoon Capybara Cafe expecting a great experience, but unfortunately, it fell short. Here's what went wrong:
Food: We ordered sushi and pizza, but both dishes lacked flavor and didn't meet our expectations. The sushi was overcooked, and the pizza crust was soggy. Suggestions for improvement:
Enhance food quality and consistency Train staff to provide better customer service Managers should engage with customers to understand...

Their cheesy ramen is an exceptional treat for the taste buds and you should also try their Kafir Leaf Mocktail (I forgot the name!) One more thing is that they have authentic wood fired oven in house which gives that authentic smoky taste. They also have live music on weekends and their ambience is amazing. Just be prepared to struggle with parking as the street is narrow and there is no safe parking available for 4 wheelers. The staff along with the manager are very helpful and their hospitality...
