Suraj Strawberry Plucking Farm & Cream Point — Restaurant in Maharashtra

This is a “Hot Spot” in Panchgani. The shop and the small sitting area at the edge of the valley gives you a great feeling to enjoy their freshly made milk shakes, strawberry with creame etc. The best part of this place is that they have a 4 acres farm along with the corner shop, where they grow Strabery, mulberry, and fresh vegetables like broccoli, cabbage etc. Visiting customers are allowed to pluck fresh strawberries from this farm for your milkshakes or pack and carry home. Besides Strawbery, you can also pluck very fresh broccoli, cabbage from the same farm.

Amazing place run by the family members of Mr Nilesh - a farmer with innovative ideas in giving a new experience to the urban visitors. And they are so kind make you comfortable and they ensure you enjoy the visit to their outlet snd their farm.

I had a peculiar issue - my GPay did not work, I did not have enough cash on hand and they don’t use credit card shipping machine. Nilesh the owner, allowed me to make the payment as and when I can. Imagine the trust he created at that moment on someone he has not met before.

I strongly recommend this place if you are visiting Panchgani. You, your family & your children will get an unique experience...

Just back from a fabulous strawberry picking experience at Suraj Farm. The Owner Nilesh and his team are very warm and welcoming and showed us how to go around strawberry plucking. If one doesn't wish to do the plucking but just want to buy a pack of strawberries, they can do that as well. If you buy the packs sorted and sold there, it amounts to Rs. 150/kilo and if you opt for your personal Plucking experience at the farm, then the strawberries are weighed at Rs.200/kilo. I would always opt for the later unless short on time for any reason.

Other than strawberries, they also have a range of other fruits and vegetables like brinjal, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, tomatoes etc.

There is a small cafe like seating arrangement too where one can enjoy strawberry ice cream, juice, berries with cream and much more.

After searching a lot about Strawberry farms near Pune, we finally came across this place. This is undoubtedly one of the best strawberry farms on Panchgani- Mahabaleshwar road. The map is quite accurate so just follow that. The location is quite scenic with mountains in the backdrop.

The fruit season is on and will go on till March. This farm is bearing good quality strawberries right now. You can go around the fields, taste and pluck fresh strawberries in a wooden basket. 1kg fruit will approximately cost around INR 350 if picked fresh and lesser if purchased from the counter.

They also sell freshly churned homemade strawberry icecream and fruit cream which is delicious.
