7.07.2025 Horrible experience — complete waste of money and time.
We revisited this place after almost 3 years, expecting the same great food we had back then. But this time, it was a total disaster.
In the name of Mutton Biryani, they served bland, tasteless mutton khichdi. The top had a layer of basmati rice just for show, while the inside was full of broken rice bits — pure deception. The chicken was cold and had a foul smell. Paneer 65 had an odd tadka of jeera, which ruined the dish completely. The Mutton Masala was flavorless, the gravy was watery, and the mutton pieces were falling apart like overcooked scraps. Even the Garlic Naan tasted like a plain wheat roti. And to add to the embarrassment, they served cold water in the finger bowl.
We were accompanied by Mr. Anush Niyogi (owner of Niyogi Caterers), who tried to brush it off by saying, “Sometimes one dish goes wrong.” But here, every single dish was a failure.
We even complained to the staff — but nothing was done. No replacement, no apology, no effort to correct anything. They simply ignored the feedback as if it didn’t matter.
To make things worse, it was raining heavily, and we couldn’t even leave or change the hotel. We were stuck there and ended up wasting ₹3,500 on food that was barely edible.
The only good thing we got was the bottled water.
This restaurant has fallen from grace completely. Never coming back again — and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Avoid...
