I was in town for a day. Asked few people around for Kolhapuri delicacies. I knew there were many delicacies one can try out but I was already skipping my breakfast and it was nearing lunch time. So I specifically asked to Kolhapuri Thalli as it would best culmination of dishes in one serving. I got mixed reviews and options. Well, Google came in handy. Searched Best Kolhapuri Thali, and this place popped up. I went through the reviews and comments and quite impressed I reached to restaurant before their Lunch hours.
Ambience and Service: 4/5 Pleasant ambience, not much crowd.( Maybe because I was early) Soon foodies joined in one by one. Their staff service is great, friendly gesture throughout, minimal staff but they try their best to cater to our needs.
Do note that the restaurant has separate opening hours for Lunch and Dinner so do check the timings before you plan your visit.
Food:5/5 I went for Jatra Mutton Thali, well when the mutton is softer than the Chapatti(Chapatti was just like a homemade fluffy chapatti) you know you have come to the right place. I have no comments on the mutton dishes it was great punch to my palette. Pandhra Rassa lead me a pathway to a different dimension of taste. I have no idea if I have had anything like that. First time I tried it and to be honest I loved it. Where in the world was I, why haven't tasted this yet. Had to question my food choices for a bit. Leaving that aside, rest all dishes are good, complimenting the main dishes and have a soothing taste.
My First Kolhapuri Thali experience, definitely going to stay in...

Food quality - Top Notch.. only word I can say about food quality. Mutton quality was mind-blowing as I am hardcore mutton lover I can judge easily. Juicy and tenderness was lovely. TAMBDA AND PANDRA was ultimate .. chapati was just like homely feeling, kheema and rice was too good. No restaurant in kolhapur other than The Thalis can give such amazing taste trust me I have visited maximum thalis from kolhapur. Service - good management and prompt waiters with helpful nature and smiling faces.
