HIGHLY UNTRAINED servers/waiters/staffs. Went for brunch with my mom and since we couldn't finish our food, we asked the servers to pack the food for us. In normal circumstances, restaurants usually politely comply with customers' requests to pack their leftover food. But the audacity... one of the servers came with a box and more or less threw the box on the table and told us if we want our leftover food packed, we should do it ourselves. We are not the type of people who'd ill-treat restaurant servers or anyone who serves us in general, so this was really shocking for me and my mom. Be it local cha-bora stalls or cafes/restaurants in Manipur, I personally have never had a bad experience such as this. So bad that I have to leave a review here.
I went and confronted the owner (seems to be a young person) regarding this matter, and since he couldn't speak proper Manipuri, there was a language barrier. I'm writing this now in English so that the restaurant owner will work on improving their service to their customers and realise the importance of CUSTOMER LOYALTY. But for now, I don't intend or plan to go to New...
Read moreHi everyone, its my honest review. Pardon my French. New blue moon, Horribly sick! Place looks good inside, tables appear clean but the people ... and most importantly the fake smile was enough to ruin my appetite. In addition to the above, Allu Paratha which was mostly pumpkin with pumpkin Sabji was terribly odorous and tasteless. To simplify, the items served doesn't goes with the price. Too costly to charge Rs.240.00 for two pieces of allu /pumpkin Paratha. Strangely, we din't find menu there. Moreover, people passing by outside who are mostly labourers, Allu Gali atmosphere, onion and garlic Thella, sees how artificial and superficial everything inside. Appears high and classy with price but quality, taste and ambience was too poor. I regret wasting my time...
Read moreThis is a place primarily known for it's sweets and my mother always brought me here to eat their sweets and samosas during my childhood. I'm referring to the old Blue Moon. Everyone knows this. And oh boy, when the new store opened (which is this), people flocked here. New place, air con, new staff and other changes. Sadly there were no vacant seats so i had to takeaway. Didn't try the sweets tho, tried their samosa. We ate it by the roadside :( but that's not a complaint. The samosa was just regular, not good or bad , just plain. The taste was underwhelming. Spilled the sauce, so... wasn't able to dip in it :D . It's still packed with people as their sweets taste great and people still have nostalgia to their brand. Hope they improve their...
