XL Restaurant — Restaurant in Manipur

Food: Ok enough to eat!! Ambience: Good Service: Pathetic Price: Reasonable unless you order the drinks.

Manipur, as always, is all about the hype!!! XL just created that atmosphere with options like Live Music and few pool and snooker board on the sides. I called for the chef when the pork ribs I ordered came all with the fats and just one rib bone!!! That was a cheat to people who knows nothing about food. Luckily it was me, who's a foodie and have travelled places. The chef never came to see me but the service guy came and took back the plate and ask me to order something else! The order took ages to come and can kill your appetite. There's no order of the things being served. Restaurants is all about hospitality and the food, rest your vibes, live musics and snookers are secondary. Nevertheless, really appreciate that things have change in Imphal and XL have created that space for the people in Imphal. Will love to visit again to change the first impression I had, until then keep doing well and learn good things.

Also, I could see YouTube videos and musics were played when I was there. Just wondering if the PPL license allows that. So will advice the management to check on that and avoid any lega issues. Just an advice as a...

The food was great and the drinks were even good as well. But the sevice was pathetic on point . As a popular resturant one should teach what hospitality is to the staff. Particularly 3 staff( the bartender, the server (healthy and has a mustache) and the lady) they were making faces (laughing and giving weird faces to each other) everything when we order or when we were having a conversation like they were looking down on us. That was making us very uncomfortable. This is the second time that I have experience and my would never come back to this resturant ever again and please teach what hospitality is and some manners to your staff. Your staff should go learn some addicted and learn how to serve from the OK chicken resturant they are way better. Such an awful...

Great ambience and good live music lil' overpriced drinks but it's ok for dry State. Food is pathetic and I guess the chef has quite an attitude. We ordered for fish and chips and the oil smelled raw so i told the waiter and he said it's just the smell of the fish but the fillet was good. Is just the crumb coat that was testing bad. So i told the waiter to kindly take it bring another one but he returned with the same piece with the raw oil smell gone and almost burnt chewy fish. Even the pork ribs is a disaster. We could only enjoy the french fries 😂. May be I'll visit again for drink and music but...
