I went to this restaurant today as I was searching for a good restaurant to spend a date night with my better half. I have multiple thoughts and would like to consolidate the same in a review.
I came to know about this restaurant from my sister and wife who follow the owner on social media.
I was insisted by them earlier but looking at the menu I wasn't tempted enough.
However, we went today just to experience something different but I'm sad to say that it was not really how I expected it to be.
The Good: -The ambience is very nice. -The lighting used is very photography friendly and you can get some really good pictures to post on. -The staff is courteous enough and knows how to behave and not disturb. Kudos to them on that.
The Bad: -The food was quite average to say the most. -We ordered a chicken biryani and chicken crispy. -Chicken crispy was decent enough however the biryani was not up to the mark. It lacked proper flavouring and was more of a plain rice with a small portion of chicken. -The portion size seemed to be quite less from what we get at other restaurants. -I dont know why but the packed water served was priced 30 Rs/- (Normal Bisleri water) which is the exact same bottle that you get outside at an MRP of 20 Rs/-. I mean why additional charges? Isn't paying taxes on the bill enough?
To sum it all up, I wouldn't want to revisit just for the photos as food taste matters more to me.
Disappointed...
Read moreSo i visited today khushamadeed. Upon reaching there got to know that some youtuber Saba khalid has opened this restaurant. The restaurant is very small and the ambience was good. There is always waiting there. I realised that people are just visiting there to see Saba Khalid and click pictures with her. If she is not present they don’t find it worth it. People are literally travelling from very far distance to come here and I guess it is just to meet that person and not for food. Lady besides me was showing the restaurant on video call to the relatives, and the relatives were asking where is she. When they find out she is not present there the relatives were least interested in watching the restaurant on video call. Now coming on food, it was not upto the mark. I ordered mutton nihari which was not at all like nihari it was just like a korma or gravy presented at the wedding. I asked the waiter if my order was mistakenly given to me but he confirmed it was nihari and told that from delhi the chef is called. Not worth it. For Rs. 549 4 pieces of mutton or some normal gravy was not worth it. The roti was nice though. After this experience, I did not order anything else. I have understood people are just visiting for the owner...

We visited the hotel yesterday and ordered the Mutton Raan Biryani. It was extremely spicy—after just a few bites, our mouths were burning. My kids couldn’t eat it at all. On top of that, I found over 10 green chili stems in the biryani, which showed a lack of care in preparation.
When I complained, the manager said I should have told them earlier, but it’s not possible to know the spice level in just one bite. I asked them not to pack the same biryani, but they still gave me the same one. A staff member even said, “It’s not that spicy,” and claimed adding plain rice would fix it, which didn’t help at all.
They gave a complimentary sweet, but my feedback wasn’t really taken seriously. I tried the biryani again the next day—it was still too spicy and took two glasses of juice just to eat a little.
The service was slow too—it took more than 10 minutes to get ice cream, and they didn’t even use serving trays for the dishes.
This was my first and last visit. I came based on a family member’s recommendation who watches Saba Ibrahim’s vlogs, but the experience didn’t live up...
