Located in Mira Road, Mumbai Menu is the perfect representation of aesthetic yet subtle arrangement of decor. The service here is excellent with the waiters being extremely cordial. It doesn’t have the best seating available, but the taste is what makes it stand out amongst the other restaurants in the Dahisar - Mira Road region. Here’s what we had at Mumbai Menu:
🍸Bangkok Sunset: This was undoubtedly the prettiest drink we’ve ever drank. The hues of the various syrups blended together just made it picture perfect! It was a perfect amalgamation of sweet and tangy and truly justifies its name “Bangkok Sunset”.
🍸Pina Colada: The best judge of any restaurant is how they make their pina colada, and Mumbai Menu ticked all the boxes in this category. The creaminess of the coconut milk combined with the pineapple juice just make it the most ideal drink for a hot tropical day, and enough to transcend you to Hawaii.
🍛Sesame Potato Honey Chilli: It was extremely flavourful and super addictive. It had potato fries tossed in the sweet and spicy honey chilli sauce and sesame seeds to add the crunch to it. This acts like a perfect snack to munch on irrespective of the occasion.
🍲Subz Makhmali Seekh Kebab: They serve the best mouth watering seekh kebabs. The kebabs are extremely soft and juicy, and simply melt in your mouth on the very first bite. Although we would have liked it spicier, the overall taste was fairly decent.
🍲Paneer Tikka Biryani: You can either ace the biryani or serve a terrible tasting one, there are no middle grounds in it. The paneer tikka biryani from Mumbai Menu is spectacular. Not only does it look very appetizing with the aromatic basmati rice, the fried onions and the coriander for garnishing, it also stands out once you dig in for...
Read moreLovely place with great ambience, pretty decor and delicious food! Situated on kashimira road, a little ahead of 'Brand Factory' this place is serving some mouthwatering, lip smacking food. The place is very spacious and the decor is very cozy! (Definitely instagrammable lol)
The food was amazing. We tried the chicken spring rolls, hariyali chicken tikka and chicken lababdar w/ butter naan and laccha paratha.
Spring rolls: so flavorful and went well with the not-too-spicy schezuan chutney. Would recommend.
Hariyali chicken tikka: the highlight of the show! I LIVE FOR chicken tikka so it's safe to say this was one of the best chicken tikka I've had in a long time. Trust me when I say this, the chicken literally melts in your mouth! So juicy, and SO tender. The marination was on point! And not to mention, the tikka pieces were huge! 11/10 for this one.
Main course: the chicken lababdar was creamy and very flavorful, good portion for 2. The naan was super soft and the laccha paratha was nice too.
(There's more) They have a basement restaurant too, apart from the one that you'll see upon entering the restaurant. The basement restaurant is very pretty and perfect for parties! Great lighting and interior there too. Definitely do check this place out if you're looking for some wholesome food! The staff is quite friendly and professional. The service is quite fast for the lovely food they serve. A quick shoutout to Divya, who showed us around the basement restaurant, she was very kind and we appreciate her...
