Voxton Inn Hotel & Banquet — Hotel in Mira-Bhayander

Very poor hotel policies, they don't trust guest for payments, Initially they took booking for 4 adult + 1 child, but room has only 1 Queen size bed and addl 1 bed 2.5X6. Only 3 adult + 1 small child can accomodate but they charged for 4.

While checking in the hotel at 1600hrs I requested for extending untill 1400hrs, they started discussing about extension cost that it will apply half day charges, it was really disgusting for a receptionist to discuss cost when a guest who is checking in has made full payment in advance this half day, full day charges will not make any difference. 1 day charges with taxes came up to 4265rs.

Bcoz I have come for a function, I anyway have to extend my stay, when morning asked for it, they don't have the policy to pay the difference at the time checkout as believe they don't trust their guests, they forced to make payment siting hotel policy.

Extremely unhappy with the hotel policy and hotel staff behaviour.

Only Resturant staff is good, polite and decent. Sorry to say hotel stay is horrible.

Room is extremely small only couple +1 child can accomodate comfortably. Will attach pictures for your eyes. Only 2 door wordrobe, 1 queen size bed, in my case 1 addl bed 2.5X6 ( they charged extra) and a TV.

Room doesn't have office table, no chair, no table. No coffee table which is basic that any family will need. Location is my requirement hence checked in this hotel or else hotel, space and amenities all are not up to...

Worst hotel I have ever stayed. We had booked 8 rooms and had paid the money before check in. They saw that in 1 room, 3 people have checked in and that we'll require extra bed. And they also knew about the number of guests coming in. Yet, they asked extra for the extra bed. Moreover, the way they spoke was extremely uncivilized.||||On top of that, we had a horrible experience during breakfast. A friend of mine had tea at the buffet area. He then went to the washroom and when he returned to have the rest of his breakfast, he was not allowed to do so! Which hotel does that?! We also saw tea being not allowed in a room for an aged guest. The food also became stale by the time some of our other friends came to the breakfast but they didn't even bring fresh snacks. ||||During check out, we told them about these issues but they refused to accept their mistake. When a female friend argued, the receptionist looked at us guys and told us to keep the females aside. We were shocked by the sexism and slammed him.||||Finally, the senior person (or maybe the owner) Nadeem stepped it. He understood our point and agreed with us that we don't need to pay for extra bed.||||Plz avoid this hotel at all costs. If u still want to stay here, don't talk to the uncivilized, rude and sexist reception staff. Deal directly with Nadeem. But the best thing is to not stay here as it'll be a grave mistake. I am sure there are better hotels...

Had a uncomfortable stay here with my family. The hotel is set inside from the road and appears to be mostly males working here and a couple of them felt quite sinister / dodgy looking. There is a pool here but it is not working. However I don’t think this is an issue for the owners of the hotel as they seem quite conservative. The rooms on first appearance looked ok but on deeper inspection bedding was old and grubby and surfaces felt dirty. Overall the rooms felt like they are cleaned to a low standard. The most annoying aspect was the rooms being full with mosquitoes. That seemed really unusual and to be honest quite careless of the hotel cleaning staff to prepare the rooms in this way. We feared having breakfast here in the morning it would be prepared in more unhygienic way. The atmosphere in the hotel is one we didn’t feel at ease with and we were glad to leave the hotel. If you are a traveller from abroad you will not be comfortable staying in the hotel. Not sure about some of the other reviews on here written by people with only 1 or 2 reviews to their name, so...
