Chopstyx Restaurant — Restaurant in Mizoram

I had two really bad experiences, first time i thought it was a fluke so i brushed it off but the service there is horrible. Lemme put it down in points A few weeks ago i went and ordered chopsuey which was served with a barely there sauce and the noodles was so crunchy it was inedible. I complained and it took them a good few minutes to get back to me to say. 'if u are not satisfied order another dish'. No apology, no explanation was given. I was left aghast.

Today i went with a group of friends to hang out. The place was completely empty save for one table. So we picked the corner most seat with a large table. We were 'asked' to move since some larger group might reserve the table later. We were okay so we moved to a small table for four people. And then one waitress came up to us and 'told' us to move again. We asked them why and she didn't give us an answer. Another waiter came up and 'told' us that we need to move to another table probably inside. We told them we wanted an outside table and they said 'inside is also comfortable so move in'. So we enquired why we had to move. They said a group of 13 people booked a table so they wanted our table. Then we asked if we could move to the opposite table because we wanted an outdoor table. They said. We are using both tables. (This waiter insisted we moce inside when all the tables outdoor was empty save for one). And note that both the 'larger' tables outside were not yet reserved. Feeling insulted by their attitude and action we packed our bags and left.

Please note that all these times we were TOLD not ASKED. (Except for the first time)

What we don't understand is that we reached early and were seated at a table beforw the reservation was made. Why do we have to move our table because of a reservation that was made after we selected our table. Also if the group was so large they could have offered them the larger tables. It was offensive and rude!!

My point is that the service is horrible, the people working there behave like they are doing us a favour. I highly doubt...

The food was tasty but the staff were HORRIBLE!! the waiter and waitress are rude! I wrote down the food we wanted to order and as I was reviewing it the waiter snatched it from my hands. 2.There was no chicken fried noodles available but he took it upon himself to change it without informing us. We asked if we could sit upstairs on the roof but were refused but later another group of people were allowed (I asked those other people if they reserved the roof top they said no, I don't want to imply anything but we were non-mizo, there were another group declined who also happened to be non-mizo 👀👀). He mixed up our orders and when we asked for clarification, as he was walking by very rudely replied we couldn't get our food now. And when I confronted them that other people were allowed why aren't we the waitress very rudely answered "you ordered your food downstairs you can only eat it here" even when we offered to take the food up ourselves. Hostile behaviour towards us from the beginning for no reason from the moment we sat down. I have been in Mizoram for 2 years now this is the first time I'm experiencing bad hospitality Mizo people are very good natured people EXCEPT THE STAFF...

Bad service+Unhygienic

The female waitress was very rude and had an attitude with us. She didn't even stop when we spoke to her and just went her way. She wouldn't even respond to us. You can even tell from the other reviews here that the female waitresses treated other customers badly as well. The male waiters were really nice though.

I had ordered 2 burgers for take-out. And while my sister was eating one, she saw a short strand of hair sticking out from the burger. She was so disgusted that she couldn't even finish her burger.

I'm so disappointed with the restaurant. Hope you can improve your service and be a little more careful when it comes to the food. As Mizo, we have a habit of staying quiet when something goes wrong like the "hair in the food" for example. Most choose to not voice out our opinions much. And this is just one incident. But no doubt other people have had the chance to experience unhygienic food from your restaurant as well. And please teach your female staffs to show better...
