We had visited Aura Restaurant few months back to celebrate a family birthday party, but the experience was BAD. The staff's behavior was unprofessional and rude, making us feel like they were doing us a favor by serving us. Here's a detailed account of the incidents that left us highly disappointed: We were in the AC section with family, enjoying our meal. My aunt decided to pay the bill during the mid-meal as a gesture to avoid others from paying — a common practice in Indian culture. While we were still having dessert, the staff started making remarks like “2 hours are destroy while serving them, and no tip is given” — which was completely inappropriate. Firstly, tips are optional and given after the meal, not during the meal. The staff is already paid a salary and should not expect mandatory tips. Despite this, my uncle gave them a ₹200 tip, yet their attitude remained unfriendly. Incident 2: A month ago, we had another bad experience in the non-AC section. The soup we ordered had no salt, and when we asked the waiter to fix it, he brought it back with excess salt that we could not put it in our mouth. When we called the waiter to ask why did he put so much salt he is saying you'll told no salt was there so we put 1 spoon salt for each cup of soup and laughed sarcastically. We were annoyed by this behavior but since we were still hungry, we decided to take a parcel order and requested to make it extra spicy the order was of pav bhaji, masala dosa, Manchurian, and aloo paratha. At the billing counter while we were paying, the staff laughed sarcastically, saying, "We made everything spicy," which felt disrespectful and humiliating. When we got home, we found that:
1.Pav had no butter 2.Bhaji was extremely spicy with red and green chilly paste 3.Masala dosa had 20 chilly pieces 4.Manchurian and paratha were again too salty and spicy with almost 25 chilly pieces The food was inedible, and we had to throw it away. Since it was late at night, all nearby restaurants were closed and we could not call AURA to complain since it was closed, and we had to sleep hungry. ALL THANKS TO AURA The behavior of Aura Restaurant’s staff is unacceptable. Their lack of professionalism, rude remarks, and poor food quality ruined our special occasions.
I humbly request the restaurant owners to replace all the staff including the billing department if they want the business to grow.
To all potential customers reading this, I would suggest avoiding Aura Restaurant. I will never go to this place ever again that is for sure regardless of whatever changes they make because whenever I see this place I am...
