What we ordered -
Starters: Jahangir chicken and some Noorani Stuffed Chicken starter Drinks: Fresh Lime soda Main Course: Kheema and aaloo Biryani, Dal fry and Jira Rice.
My verdict: The restaurant ambiance is OK, there are two parts, AC and Non-AC. Non-AC section is too loud, if you are a couple non-ac section is not recommended because of the continuous noice of the kitchen and operating people calling out each other. Ok, so moving in the AC section, the sitting is again OK, the Washroom door is so weird, it opens right in front of the people eating, it feels so weird even to use the washroom because if it, and even for washing hand we need to go inside the washroom, gives a feeling like going for a loo.
Now coming to the food, the starters were very dry and we were not able to consume them. There is a common chutney that comes with all the starters that is sweetened dahi mixed with onions. Now when the bring the starters, the dahi gets mixed with the chicken pieces as they don't have a separate vessel for the chutney. Imagine you taking the non-veg starters as parcel cause you were not able to finish them mixed with the curd. Yeah, that's what happened with us. The stuffed chicken starter is the most expensive starter that they have and is the worst of all, ticking both the boxes the same time, it is so dry. The chicken is not soft aswell. So with this experience I thought of ordering the Mutton kheema and aaloo biryani, hoping this should be better than the chicken. The mutton tasted like chicken this time, because the masala that they use for chicken biryani is the same they use for mutton, and they add mutton kheema gravy that they serve as kheema pav (another dish) in the biryani to make it kheema biryani. Now here they give so much of masala gravy in the biryani that if you have not ordered separate biryani rice with the main biryani then again you will be in trouble eating the biryani. Also, the raita came 5 mins after we started eating biryani. So after all this struggle we ordered dal fry and jeera rice to change the taste and make our stomach feel good. Fortunately this time it was good enough to eat. Meanwhile we had ordered fresh lime soda, a simple drink like this was so bad, the lemon was over ripened and tasted bad, the soda had lost its carbonation. And with all the negative experience we had, adding to it the rates of this restaurant are above its standard. The only reason we had moved in the AC section is to avoid the outside noise, but that did not help, the inside is also equally noisy, there are no sound absorbers in the closed AC section and the croud that comes to this place was adding the noise is what we felt. Not a comfortable place to have your dinner.
Hygine: The restaurant hygine is also not up to the mark. Cleaning of table and sitting area was not as we expected.
This BBC is not a place I would suggest you guys to have your cravings satisfied and it is certainly not a place to celebrate your anniversary like we did. Please look elsewhere. I don't understand why a restaurant named after Biryani, cannot serve a good biryani.
If you guys still want to visit this place, the only dish I can recommend is Kheema Pav.
My Humble request to the owner of this place is, please take my comments seriously, because there might be many like me and if all start writing honest reviews from heart, it won't take much time to negatively impact...

Read moreMore than 20 years old resturant May you could be the best restaurant in town..May your have super delicious food but if you have the pathetic service, execution and delivery management then the entire infrastructure can be fail l this is the best of the example of my today's experience. I requested for the chicken dum Biryani instead of that swiggy guy deliver me the paneer Tikka biryani. I reported the issue to swiggy First they just took the feedback and then that took my complaint and process the refund to my account. meanwhile first I called restaurant and told them about my entire experience they were just keep telling me that I should speak with swiggy. very carelessly they said that I should have order directly from them instead of ordering from swiggy.
I unwillingly educate them that you have choose swiggy as vendor to deliver the food to your customer so it's your responsibility as well
this is the example where you are completely careless about your own service I told them that while hand over of the parcel to swiggy guyi it is your duty to check the order number before you handover for the delivery and the same time is swiggy's responsibility as well to collect the right parcel after checking order number. I had a guest at my home to serve the delicious food however they made the entire experience very embarrassing and pathetic. initially I speak with Mr Subodh from restaurant and after that some Prabhat guy came to line it took almost two hours to escalate the issue to have a word with the restaurant and get the right order.
finally Mr Subodh from restaurant delivered the order. he took the pic of my order ID and also took my pic .....I don't know why it took my pic that was quite unreasonable but I consider its ok...
I have to think twice in future if i want order from...
