With branches spread all over Mumbai at key locations; we visited the Borivali branch for a Sunday treat.

The outlet serves some really good coffee along with other Hot & Cold beverages for your liking, a hearty menu consisting of quick bites to full fledges meals followed by a good assortment of cookies & desserts.

Hot Chocolate Traditional Butter Croissant Mascarpone Cheese Croissant Guacamole on Toast Grilled Chicken Spaghetti Aglio E Olio Blue Tokai Coffee Pancakes Brownie Crinkle Cookie

The combination of Hot chocolate & both version of croissant was heavenly and is a must try for those who prefer this combination (Go for the Mascarpone croissant)

Guacamole on toast was a perfect healthy nourishing yet delicious dish with 2 boiled eggs topped on creamy guacamole paste with a side baked bread slices.

Grilled Chicken Spaghetti was satisfying with good portion of chicken pieces added in and this dish was cooked in olive oil.

The coffee pancakes were to die for – triple layered & fully with a generous drizzle of chocolate all over with a side helping of thick Chocolate sauce & honey – The combination heavenly!

We had a very good time at Blue Tokai as the service is great, staff is helpful & and most importantly food is satisfying and...

visited this café primarily because it was listed as pet-friendly, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite align with that promise. While the ambience and staff were otherwise courteous, I was quite disappointed with how restrictive their pet policy actually is.

Upon entering with my well-trained pet—who quietly sat with me the entire time—I was informed by the manager that pets are not allowed to be placed on the floor and must remain on the chair or lap. While I understand the need for certain hygiene or safety protocols, the number of restrictions made it clear that pets aren’t truly welcome in the way the term pet-friendly usually implies.

What saddened me most was seeing my pet, who is usually very sociable and comfortable in such environments, become visibly uneasy due to the unusual rules. It felt like he wasn’t meant to be there, and as a responsible pet parent, that was disheartening.

I would kindly urge the management to reconsider the way the term "pet-friendly" is used. Genuine pet-friendliness goes beyond just allowing pets—it means creating a space where they can feel safe and included, within reasonable boundaries of course.

A Spacious Haven for Coffee Lovers

I recently visited Blue tokai and was pleasantly surprised by its inviting ambiance. The space is large and well-laid out, with plenty of tables available, making it an ideal spot for both solo visitors and groups. The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed hangout, whether you're looking to work, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy some quiet time.

The menu offers a great variety of coffee options. I tried their iced mocha, and it was well-balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and bitterness, refreshing without being too heavy. I also had the peri-peri cottage cheese sandwich, which paired nicely with the drink. The sandwich was flavorful, with a satisfying kick of spice that didn't overpower the overall taste.

The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to the overall pleasant experience. Service was prompt, and the helpfulness of the team added to the welcoming feel of the place.
