In April 2013 after finalizing a package with the club a deposit was paid and a receipt was acquired for the amount. Fully aware of the repeated change in the clubs management i requested the Manager to specify on the same receipt the rate per head of the package and the date of the event. After returning from abroad just 20 days before the function i visited the club to ensure everything was in place only to find out that the Management had now changed and there was no entry or log to say that i had ever booked the Sapphire lounge for the 28th December 2013. Luckily i had the receipt which was honored but there was a big struggle to acquire the rate locked at that time since the rates were now increased since it was the festive season. The current management decided to honor the package at the then decided rate but made it clear that they would not serve any mutton or fish dishes. On the day of the function we visited the venue around 4pm to find the dinner plates as well as the dessert plates all chipped (every single one of them). We immediately requested them be changed but later on in the night during the function we did find a lot of them were still chipped. The management never asked for a list of guests in advance and then during the function ask all my guests to write down their names which i understand is a good thing but it would save time if a list was requested in advance. The DJ was playing music like he was at a sunburn festival with a lot of trance and rave music for a family function. The bar staff and the wait staff were clearing the guests glasses which were still half full stating that they were running low on glasses. The snacks that were being served were served in such small amounts that even it would barely make it past one couch of guests. There was no mic available at the venue. Our guest list was a minimum of 80 guests but i told the management it may go upto 120 guests max. The actual guest count was only 66 people. During a discussion with the manager the following day i was informed that the snacks ran out and that he had to personally order for the cooks to prepare for some more snacks. The Bacardi ran out and at almost 23:15 he personally paid for 2 bottles to be bought. He also mentioned that we had consumed 11 bottles of wine which was outrageous as 2 elderly ladies were drinking wine and they probably had a glass or two. The rotis at the dinner ran our after the first 10 guests served them selves and it took the staff 45 minutes to refill the rotis. The dessert was served in bowls which were overflowing from the sides. Over all the experience was the most horrid i had ever had. Having just been married on the previous day and every one raving about the food at the wedding this was an utter...
Read moreMost Pathetic Salon !
One of the most pathetic salon staff I have ever come across !!! very strong dislike. I am sure the authorities are truly not very concerned about the customer experience or feedback and only believe in ill treating the client and behaving as if they are doing some huge favor to everyone !
the standard reply to everyone from the salon staff (Ms. Salima) is - "I don't have appointments until 15th Aug,,,, because I don't have place... yes ! alot of appointments are going on ! you can check it online........... you can go complaint to whoever you want and the lady says she doesn't care !"
I say - if you do not have place then do not create offers or packages and market them online. stick to the basics and at least have the courtesy to speak to the customer politely !
when we arrived in for the appointment, we were delayed due to unexpected rains and traffic even after starting early and on time from our destination. when we tried calling the salon to inform and update them about the 20 mins delay, they were not reachable at all neither through their landline or their mobile phones. to the extent that I had dropped in an SMS to them stating that we are delayed a bit. which they didn't bother reading.
even after all the above, the lady Ms. Salima had the audacity to lecture us about punctuality and once again ill treated us saying that she has a very small place and she has too many appointments. currently I am at the salon sitting here for the last 1 hr. and I don't see a single soul as a customer in the entire venue.
I wonder what service and customer experience others have had ! But i am totally never ever in my life even going to bother to recommend this place to my...
Read moreI have to say, my visit to C'est La Vie on Hill Road, Bandra, through my Fitpass membership was nothing short of a nightmare. This place is an absolute disgrace. From the shady, dilapidated entrance to the gym’s basement location, everything screams neglect. The gym equipment is ancient, rusted, and downright dangerous. It feels like a health hazard rather than a place to work out. The dumbbells are corroded, many machines are out of order, and the whole place has a creepy, unkempt vibe.
The state of the bathrooms is appalling—they smell like a filthy public restroom and are in desperate need of cleaning and maintenance. The mirrors are stained, the floors are grimy, and the entire facility looks like it hasn’t seen a renovation since the early 2000s.
To make matters worse, the annual membership fee of 40,000 INR is a complete rip-off for such a shoddy, outdated facility. There are plenty of better, more modern gyms in the area at a fraction of the cost.
This place is a total scam and a health risk. Save your money and avoid this gym at all costs. I hope the management takes this feedback as constructive criticism and considers renovating the gym to improve the equipment and overall...
