We ordered the classic Waffle which had pan cake syrup and whipped cream and this was such a disaster. It was nothing less than a roadside jalebi immersed in cheap sugar syrup. Firstly they served it in a take away cheap plate ..and who serves something which is meant to have syrup poured on it a paper plate. And they cannot say they have their initiatives to serve the planet as they certainly don't ...cause guess what they were serving cakes in a plate 🤔.... When we had a bite of the waffle we thought maybe it's just one side where there was too much syrup ...oh and btw the waffle was floating in syrup( usually meant to be served aside or served on the table as per the customers preference) and this obviously was not. We asked to speak to the chef as this was such a disaster and wanted to know why this was served like this ..that too at a popular place like this ...he did not offer any apology but kept justifying his rubbish culinary skills. I asked to speak with the manager then and was told that he was the manager ..and I don't believe it one bit...one he did not know how to speak and did not even speak English properly... definitely not a manager for a so called popular place again. I then asked for the owners number which I was denied ...so I asked the staff to call and give me ..but this was refused as well. All I wanted is a good desert and my order to be corrected ...obviously I wasn't going to pay 500 bucks for that rubbish again ...but this was refused...After being persistent on not changing my order ..I asked for it to be cancelled....which was also denied ...and only when I refused to pay ...the so called manager said he will cancel the order.... Highly disappointed....with the service the manager ...the terrible jalebi that was served..actually roadside jelebi will taste better than what we had. I am adding a pic of what was served ..little did I know it was sugar syrup that I was having. Will never ever recommend this place. I don't cook much ..but I can challenge that so called chef that I would do a better job than him. You guys just ruined our lovely...
Read moreOverhyped by bunch of teens, overpriced probably due to location. Tried hot chocolate - classic and dark. Trust me its too sweet, even the dark chocolate is very sweet, after 3-4 sips i had to throw it. It feels like you are having melted morde chocolate. Grandmama's serves the same thing at lesser price.
Lotus biscoff cheesecake (eggless)- Average. I have had much better cheesecakes. This one also was too sweet.
Croissant with ice cream- Useless Dessert.
Banana chocochip bread- felt stale. Though they claimed it to be fresh and did not charge us as we returned it. And banana chocochip didnt go well.
Old fashioned chocolate cake with strawberries- Decent cake, but over priced. I have had similar earlier for half the price.
They were out of cold coffees when we got a table. Expected them to display it well of what they dont have.
The wait time here during peak hrs was 2 hrs. We waited for 2 hrs to get a pathetic table outdoors with waiting crowd howering over us. And we were asked to accomodate 4 of us on a table of 2. The pricing at this place is at par to luxury patissarie, the service is 2 star, and food is 2 star. If you are asked to wait for more than 5 mins, skip it. Order from Zinque, starbucks, grandmama's,...
Read moreChantilly Cafe - Bandra. It's often said and believed that a chota packet comes with a bada dhamaka, after visiting this cafe, now i know why. After reading so many review, i decided to visit the place and was as puzzled like facing a googly from Shane Warne. The place seemed so small from the outside i had to double check it if it's the correct famous Chantilly. It has total seating capacity of 10 people at once. The interior is so well done with fairy lights and lots of cute quirky props, setting up a mood for a perfect date or may be friends gathering. NUTELLA CHEESECAKE is the finest I've rver had. At one point i just wanted to admire it and didn't feel like eating cause it was so tasty. Later ended up ordering a couple more. Even if you don't like a cheesecake, just try it, it's worth it. Red velvet pastry was simply a master piece because of the frost added in it. Overall all the food served out here is fresh and the best you'll ever have. It's a little more on the expensive side i.e. a single pasty can cost up to anything between 240 to 300.
Pro Tip: Go on a weekday eve to get the seating empty for a while. Don't damage any props, it's too cute to be harmed. Don't think and just order that...
