What a delightful culinary journey at Flavours of Malvan, conveniently located right next to DN Nagar Metro station in Andheri West! As a content creator, I'm always on the lookout for authentic local experiences, and this place truly delivered a fantastic Malvani feast.
We dove headfirst into their diverse menu, and every dish was a winner. The Kothimbir Vadi was perfectly crisp and flavorful – a great start to our meal. Next up, the Prawns Koliwada stole the show with its perfectly spiced and succulent prawns; it's definitely a must-try for seafood lovers.
For the main course, we sampled their thalis, and they did not disappoint. The Malvani Veg Thali with bhakari was wholesome and packed with traditional flavors, while the Chicken Thali with vade was rich, aromatic, and incredibly satisfying. But the absolute highlight was the Surmai Thali (big size) with chapati – the fish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and the portion was generous, making it a true star of the meal.
We rounded off our culinary adventure with desserts. The Ukadiche Modak was soft, sweet, and comforting – just like homemade. And you can never go wrong with a classic Gulab Jamun!
The ambiance is simple and inviting, focusing entirely on the incredible food. If you're craving authentic Malvani cuisine with generous portions and genuine flavors, Flavours of Malvan is the place to be. Highly...
Read moreI wish we could review on Google by giving 0 stars. Please don’t at all get fooled by all these reels and videos about them. We visited this place recently. After 20-25 minutes we got a place to sit, very small and congested sitting area with 3- 4 sitter tables and 2- single sitters. Each and everything from cleaning the tables to giving water and glasses were to be told. We placed our order around 10pm and had to keep repeating it 3-4 times as the person taking the order was not writing it down and used to come and take the order every now and then. We literally had to go down multiple times to talk to the owner and ask them about our food, they every time replied with, its just getting ready. But order never made it to our table till 11.40pm. And inspite of being late the food was all cold and tasteless to be honest. The price is not as what she says it to be in the reels, DON’T GET FOOLED. Every table has a similar story, the all had visited that place after seeing it on reels. Prices are as similar to Nav Chaitanya so please avoid this place if you can. But if you still wish to visit go with ample of time and patience. If you wish to have dinner here, do go and sit during lunch time so your order will be served by dinner. The owner was blank when we spoke to him about it. It was a total...
