GOLDEN MONK! 😍

Golden Monk is an year old addition to the list of places serving Chinese Cuisine! It is located in the Sab TV bylanes, and serves Cantonese Style of Chinese Food! The Place has some cutesy Chinese Decor, with both indoor as well as outdoor seating!

The Menu has been very well curated, and has a mix of both Vegetarian, as well as, Non Vegetarian Fare, on the menu! The Food is priced a little on the higher side, but it is of super notch quality, and the service is pretty quick as well!

In the Starters, we decided to go for the Veg Manchurian! Quintessentially, and simply delicious, I loved the fact that, there was not too much use of oil, and had a little spice kick to it! These were quite flavourful, and crunchy, and were cooked to perfection! One of the best Veg Manchurian, I have had till date! 🤤

We also tried the Dry Red Chilli Cottage Cheese, which was a very different, and unique Paneer Appetizer, I have tried of late! It contained Dried Paneer Pieces tossed in Ginger, Garlic, Chilli Flakes, Soya Sauce, and topped off with Spring Onions! The Paneer was panfried, and had a very different taste to it! This one is definitely, a one of its kind Paneer Appetizer!

For Mains, we decided to try out their Veg Stewed Rice, in which Rice was cooked in Chilli Garlic Sauce, and tossed up with Mixed Vegetables, and Paneer Pieces! The Quantity is Huge, and can be easily shared by 3 people! The Dish was quite flavourful, but a little touch of seasoning can enhance the flavours even more! 😋

For Desserts, we decided to try their Molten Chocolate, which we were surprised that, it was not the traditional Chocolate Lava, which we expected it could be! Instead, it was something even more amazing, and my newly found favourite, Chocolate Dessert!

The Molten Chocolate contained, Thick, and Luscious, Chocolate Ganache, filled in a Fudgy, Chocolate Muffin, and was exuding warmth in every bite! I loved the Chocolate Ganache, and wished there was a little more filling of it! Nevertheless, it was amazing, and if served with a scoop of Vanilla Icecream, it will taste even more delicious! 😍

On the Whole, Golden Monk surpassed my expectations, because I have not had such amazing and flavourful quality of Vegetarian Chinese Food, at any place, of late! I am going to be coming back soon for trying out the Non Vegetarian Fare, the Baos, and the Dimsums, for sure! Thank you so much, for this hearty Lunch, and for the impeccable...

Golden Monk is well known for its Chinese and Asian food. The food is delectable and quantity is good. We'd ordered :

In Mocktails : Orange Bliss - This is a very refreshing drink which has orange juice, lime juice, orange crush which is topped with Sprite. Highly recommended!

In Starters : Golden Monk Chicken - Pan grilled sliced chicken with ginger, garlic, corriander, lemon slices, lemon juice and onion slices served on the side of a salad. This appetizer was served on a banana leaf and the salad was marinated in white sauce. The taste was outstanding. Highly recommended!

In Mains : Roast Chicken Basil Chilli Sauce - This is basically a Chill Sauce gravy which has bell peppers, spring onions and roasted chicken pieces. You can order this along with some rice or noodles. The consistency of the gravy was good and the taste was really nice. Highly recommended!

In Rice : Chicken Clay Pot Rice - This is their Chef recommended dish. It has alot of italian vegetables, mushrooms and tender chicken pieces on the rim with rice underneath having an outstanding flavor and the quantity is easily sufficient for two people. I'd ordered for delivery. In dine-in, this is served in a clay pot. Highly recommended!

The food surely scores a ten on ten. The delivery was made in time and the packaging was tamper proof, there was no spillage. Also, spoons and chopsticks were sent alongwith the food. Had a good experience with Golden Monk. They also sent complementary Honey Noodles and vanilla ice-cream. Looking forward to...

Golden monk in Andheri West near sab tv lane, I visit this place 3 days ago try authentic Chinese food, some of my friend tell me about this place for food is good place is amazing, so I check out this place, me and my friend visit, inside outside seating arrangements available, interior and ambiance was good, nicely arrangements tables for seating, so first I check out menu there are so many veg and non veg Chinese food, they only served Chinese food, so I start with dim sum and dragon potato, I had spicy chicken dim sum, looks very amazing and delicious both the food, hot served and tasty food, staff is amazing good service and kind in nature, after i had Malaysian flat noodles and stewed rice, good quality and quantity food they served, rice and noodles are very fresh and perfect cooked, I really love this Chinese food, after i had one dessert, date chocolate roll with ice cream, amazing food and people, I like dining here, I wish I visit next time also to try different food here. .
