Miro Restaurant, Svenska Design Hotel — Restaurant in Mumbai

One of the few places which offer a non-expensive buffet for Sunday dinners, Svenska Design Hotel was our choice of venue for some weekend hogging. With an impressive spread of delectable dishes, our expectations were quite high, and we began our meal with a slew of starters, both veg as well as non veg. From pepper chicken to diced sausages, from paneer and aloo tikka to pepper garlic veggies, from cajun fish to fried surmai, we feasted on one delight after another. For me the highlights were the chicken sausages and cajun fish, we ordered multiple servings and couldn't have enough of them, I highly recommend both. Svenska also had happy hours going on certain drinks, a 2+1 offer, and I chose to have Smirnoff. The chaat offerings were also worth a shot, particularly the paani puri, the spiced water was just spot on. Up next was the pizza, and since not all of us were non-vegetarians we were in a dilemma whether to go for the veg pizza or the nonveg one. Luckily we were offered a split pizza, where half of it would be veg and the other half would be nonveg. It was of the thin crust variety, with reasonable amount of cheese, though it didn't have as much meat as we would've liked. The taste was average, so it's not an absolute must have, but not too bad either. We now turned our attention to the mains, and settled for butter chicken with garlic naan. The gravy was really nice, lovely buttery texture as was expected, though the naan was a tad too thick, making the morsel dry in the mouth. Now it was time for the most fun part of any buffet, desserts. And Svenska did not disappoint. The mango mousse, the brownies and the muffins were all really good, but the show stealers were the kheer and the rabdi. I can confidently say this was the yummiest kheer I have had in any restaurant, and the rabdi was up there with the very best that I have had as well. It would be a sin to come here and not have these. To sum up then, Svenska Design Hotel serves a sumptuous all you can eat experience. We had a near flawless dinner, food wise. The only criticism I have is that towards the end of our dinner it felt like we were being rushed, as though they wanted us gone at the earliest. Also, I was constantly asked to give my rating on Zomato, I explained that I am anyway a regular reviewer on Zomato, and would certainly write in detail about my visit, but for some reason they kept asking me multiple times to rate them on the spot, there and then. I did as they asked, giving 4 stars, and an otherwise relaxed evening ended in hurried manner...

It's been long time for me to go for a buffet n eat till my stomach bursts out... This place in bylanes of Andheri won my heart with its good positive vibes beautiful decor n lovely food.. It had spacious seatings n a edgy interior gave this place a posh look.. Place is adequately lightened.. A smoking zone is perfectly maintained separately from the dining area but still enhancing beauty of this place.. The buffet out here is not great lavish but its decent good n has everything for pure veg as well as for non vegetarians.. I started the buffet with broccoli soup n it was absolutely delicious.. It was Perfect thick n surely it started our meal on good note.. In starters I tried stuffed mushrooms (grilled) n bharwa mushrooms (tandoori) n both the dishes were absolutely lip smacking.. Had Paneer tikka n Paneer chilli n both the dishes were very too awesome to describe.. I really loved veg tempura out here.. I also loved veg salt n pepper out here... We also had penne paste in pink sauce out here n it was absolutely authentic in taste.. We had had farmhouse pizza n this one loaded with veggies on thin crust pizza bread was amazing n very tasty.. We then headed for main course which was equally magestic like starters were.. Had Paneer mutter masala n veg kolhapuri with butter khulcha n each of them tasted very good.. I also had plain rice with Dal tadka n it was also lovely, a perfect Punjabi fare.. There are good sinful options for desserts out here.. I tried chocolate mousse which was deliciously light n fluffy .. Also had pineapple cake with brownie n ice cream n it was good... Had Chocolate cupcake here n they were perfectly moist and insanely chocolaty, topped with a supreme whipped cream n I really enjoyed having this one.. Overall I really relished meal out here .. Staff out here were prompt, friendly n very courteous n quick in cleaning tables also.. Proper care of hygiene is taken care out here.. I will go for full marks not only for good food but also if u compare rates to other buffets, this one is more pocket friendly.. Even if one opt for a la carte this place is not that expensive.. I'm sure u guys won't regret visiting here

Svenska is a Hotel with Global buffet as their inhouse restaurant. The place has a great look from outside and as we entered inside the restaurant has an ambience feel like a 3 star. Svenska has a classy rooms to stay here with price starting from 7k and above with like Superior, Deluxe, suite room. Global buffet has different rates on buffet on different days like 750/- all inclusive Lunch except Sunday. 899/- all inclusive Dinner from Monday to Thursday. 999/- all inclusive Sunday brunch.

This place is basically famous for its buffet but i really liked the ambience first with lounge music going on makes this place a perfect dinein place with your family or loved ones. Service here is very quick as if you select this buffet starters and coolers are served on table and maincourse and dessert we need to take it from the buffet counter. Mr Ahtesham the manager of this restaurant was a well educated and was very polite with us and gave us the best service we customers always want. Overall experience here was excellent.

I must say they have a huge variety of menu for Buffet and 899/- per person is totally worth spending here. lets see which food did i tried and would recommend.
