Editing after my 3rd visit -
3rd review - 12th Dec ‘24 -
Changing my previous two star rating to one star.
This place is at a prime location right next to big corporates, still can’t serve good, tasty and appealing food to customers even after a year of being operational. The servers definitely need to be attentive and prompt- they clearly lack motivation to work there.
The food was again salty, didn’t have any taste to it except salt and definitely not per standard for someone to charge a 350-400₹ per starter. This feedback was voiced by 8 people sitting on our table. They have started alcohol, but happy hours will be told to you only if you ask the servers and only if you confirm that you won’t pay by Dineout/ Zomato.
The AC on the right side wasn’t functioning well, the management has clearly not worked on the previous feedback related to mosquitoes.
After having few drinks and starters at Hibachii, we finally decided to leave and have dinner at Mantra where the food was excellent and the staff took care of us.
2nd review - 10th Feb ‘24 - Place full of mosquitoes, salty food which lacked taste and lazy servers at 1030pm on a Saturday night
1st review - Dec ‘23 New place open in this vicinity. The name suggests that’s it’s Pan Asian or Japanese, however, it’s just a regular restaurant serving Indian and Indo-Chinese food.
Ambiance - huge place to easily accommodate large group of people.
Food - below average and lacked taste. Everything was just salty.
We were a group of 12 ordered non veg platter, chicken angara, paneer chilli, garlic soup, tandoori broccoli, pot rice, triple schezwan rice and some fresh lime juice.
The food overall lacked taste both veg and non-veg. In fact the fresh lime didn’t taste fresh and seemed to be made of bottled lime juice.
The place doesn’t serve alcohol yet.
Honestly it was a disappointing experience for us. Whilst the staff tried their best to be cooperative, however, the food, slow service, flies in the restaurant was just mood dampening for us. Also, the menu is nothing great.
We expected better from this place as the name and exterior decor seemed quite fancy.
It’s a decent option for folks working in Embassy 247, however, I’m certain people would prefer going to Ibis, Powai or Rcity if the owner doesn’t improve the food taste and service.
I’m surprised looking at the other reviews as it was no where close to our expectations...

I recently visited Hibachii and had a very bad experience. We had made a reservation, but when we arrived, we still had to wait for 30 minutes. There was no one to greet us or take our order. The reception area was empty, which was strange.
When we finally got the attention of a waiter, we placed our order. We chose Chicken Tenders, Chicken Frizza, Chicken Tandoori, and Spicy Garlic Chicken. But when the food arrived, we were surprised to find that the Chicken Tenders and Chicken Frizza were almost identical. The only difference was that one had cheese, which the waiter didn't mention.
The taste of the food was also not good. It was bland and not enjoyable. The only good thing about our visit was the mocktails.
But the service was very bad. We asked for tissues multiple times, but never got them. We also asked for cutlery, but had to wait a long time. Eventually, we had to eat our food with serving spoons.
Our experience was so bad that we decided not to order our main course or dessert. We just wanted to leave.
I'm very disappointed with Hibachii. The management and service were very poor. I don't understand how they got such good reviews on Google.
I would not recommend Hibachii to anyone. The food and service are not good, and it's not worth wasting your...
Read moreThis is a newly opened resto with a significant Japanese name which gave us an impression it serves Japanese food, but there's none on the menu, it basically serves Indian and Chinese. The ambience is quite welcoming and plesant, we went for a team dinner. Overall vegetarian food is good and non veg is quite average. Chinese is almost on point but needs a bit of improvisation. We ordered: Masala papad-2/5 lacked spices, onion, masala Chi machow soup-5/5 Paneer starter- 4/5 Schezwan chi lolipop-4.5/5 Garlic chilli chicken starter-3.5/5 chewy pieces of chicken and lacked the saucy chinese taste Mutton seekh- 2/5 very dry Hara bara kabab-5/5 Veg biryani-4/5 Chi biryani -3/5 lacked masala and birista Chi hot pot rice- 4/5 lacked presentation Veg burnt garlic rice-4/5 Lemond soda- 2.5/5 much of syrup and lemon was tad bitter. Overall food Presentation- 3/5
Only gulab jamun from the dessert list was available, which tasted straight out of a tin, cold. Service is a bit slow considering the place wasn't full. Most of the interesting dishes in the menu weren't available at the restaurant which was a disappointment. The attendent forgot us to give finger bowl and sauf at the end... We enjoyed being at the place, our feedback was considered graciously. The manager is warm and welcoming.
Wish them the...
