Rasoi Family Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Mumbai

I went to rasoi yesterday with 3 of my colleagues around 1 pm during the rush hours which we understand that. While ordering the person told us that it will take around 20-25 mins to prepare the soup - considering that we ordered our starters and maincourse within the next 5 mins itself, as it was our office break we were in a little rush and we needed to board our cabs at 2.30 pm so 1.5 hour was enough time for us to have lunch. So the soup came around 1.40 I believe after 30 mins of waiting and when we were asking the person (maybe the owner) he has this face of disinterested while replying and saying aaraha hai and was saying like time tho lega and was often ignoring us. we orders chicken white manchow soup they served us veg manchow soup it was really frustrating after waiting for 30 mins we get the wrong order and then the other person there replies we'll change it I mean really it was very clear that we were in hurry so we had our soup, starters came with that time after our starters we waited for main course which we order 45 mins ago I believe and the restaurant was empty by that time and when we asked about our main course he said Aap kuch biryani mangalete tho jaldi mill jata the thing is while placing the order we asked him what would take less time to prepare so he replied (time tho sabko lagega) that's why we ordered Chinese considering it would take a little less time to prepare then muglai. They switched off the ac and after telling them for the third time to turn on the fan they acknowledged us we asked more than trice for the bill as we were in hurry thinking atleast we'll save time on this thing but he gave it in the end. we didn't even chew our food properly and more to that he added the veg soup in our bill we don't want your free food but as a manager of a restaurant you should atleast have a courtesy to apologize to your customers. If they could have told us that the kitchen was busy or it awould take more than 20 mins as they had mentioned before we would have reconsidered our decision to dine there but they said 20 mins and made us wait unapologetically, we were frustrated the whole time I'll say this is my worst experience till date. {The food was really good} I wont deny that but the service was pathetic. I generally don't bother to write bad reviews but I had to...

Person who did not get order from Zomato even though I have paid for the whole order! I ask people to not order from this restaurant as this was my second experience that I have not received my order. the whole meal was missing this time.

I ordered Veg wholesome Indian Combo twice this week. the first time they did not send the dal, rice and gulab jamun and now they have done it they didn't send the whole meal. like why did I even pay the money for?

last time zomato folks sent me the refund money now also they'll do the same but the thing is this restaurant used to be one of the authentic restaurant I used to prefer but based on my experience I won't ever refer nor order from this restaurant ever again.

I suggest people who are reading this comment yes the food is good no doubt but the restaurant response to any mishap is that they don't know anything. I called up the restaurant and they said the person packing the parcel had no idea what goes in the combo (so why even keep those people working for you? people pay for getting something not delivering is not the answer for your confusion)

Recently visited Hotel Rasoi, This cozy restaurant has left the best impression.

The look, feel and ambience is Good with regards to Family dining space. Not too fancy.

But what actually made our day great was

Appetizing and Flavorful food which is Absolutely Delicious.

We had ordered Prawns Koliwada, Surmai Fry Tawa, Chicken Dakshini Murg Tikka and Paneer ke Shikanje in starters

Across the Menu Variety in Veg and Non Veg is Amazing

And all of these at a pocket friendly price

Throughout Pandemic I looked in for Good Quality with Quantity food and with Hotel Rasoi i found that match in Vikhroli

Do yourself a favour and if you ever happen to be at LBS Marg towards Vikhroli. This place is Highly Recommended

I guarantee you wont be Disappointed 😂
