Indulge Bakery & Cake Shop - Mulund West — Restaurant in Mumbai

am used to ordering cakes and savouries from indulge on a regular basis as I reside in the same locality. Recently, K had the opportunity to try the sweet treats that Indulge is serving for Diwali 2020.

Here is a list of all the sweet treats we tried from indulge. We have arranged them as per our tastemetre (best ones first) :

(i) Florintine (30 Rs each ) : Florentine cookies are very slim cookies which are usually made using hazenuts/almonds. The ones we picked up from indulge were almond Florentins and they were delicious. Paper like thin texture with a heavenly crunch ! The Florentins were partially enrobbed in chocolate and tasted out of the world

(ii) Strawberry Pannacotta (40 rs per serving) : The Strawberry Pannacotta at indugle was fluffier than ever and we really like how it was whisked to perfection! Yummyiest ever!

(iii) English Almond Toffees (50 Each) : These almond brittles were neither too sweet nor to bland, they hit the perfect chord for me and my family. We loved how these too were enrobbed in chocolate and then covered in dust like Almond shavings!

(iv) Pistachio Baklava (30 Rs) : Baklavaa have become the new "in thing" in our country and the ones sold at indulge came with a pistachio filling. They aren't very crispy and the consistency is just perfect to for it to melt in your mouth! I have tried this Turkish delicacy at various places across the city and I am all praise for Indulge's Baklavaa

Cookies (15Rs each) : I went in for a chocovhip cookie, the white velvet and the red velvet cookie and I must say I loved the chocochip one the most, folled by Whitevelvet a s redvelvet.

Milky All the Way Cupcake (50 Rs) : The Milky All the way has always been a regular order for me at indulge but this time round I was more impressed the the rest of the products.

Oat Meal Bar (30 Rs) : The oat meal bar was the least of my favourites from the lot this time . Though the folks had put in a lot of effort at minimising the taste of oats here, this dish did not quite work for me.

It was a weekend and being in mulund i thought of trying some savory in indulge.

Hygiene and safety:- I must say that they take care about the safety and Hygiene and it was very nicely presented with the packaging quality and also the contactless delivery.

Food items:-

1)Paneer kathi roll:- This was my favourite as it was nice spicy paneer pieces served in a roll. For all paneer lovers it is a superb roll.

2)Choclate almond florentine:- This was some unique combination and also the dish was having chocolate on one side and almond coating on other. I must say this was very unique and my favourite for sure.

3)Choclate chunk cookie:- This was a Choclate lovers delight.. Lots of choclate pieces served in a cookie. Each bite was yummy and chewy along with lots of Choclate.

4)Custard filled bun:- This was another nice cool fushion of custard being stuffed in a bun. For all the time you can feel the custard in each bite of the bun. The bun was soft and moist.I must say its something unique and something different and something amazing.

5)Choclate fudge filled oatmeal bar:- Have you ever heard of choclate and oatmeal combination.Yes indulge does make this option the most tasty ever. Its a superb combination of oatmeal and Choclate bar which gives the perfect taste and texture of both. After the florentine this is something over the top. Do not misss this.

6)Choclate modak:- White choclate covering along with jaggery stuffing. The renewed style of modak is definitely a thumbs up.

VERDICT:- If you are in mulund west then do visit this store. They have one of the best cakes and that too from a very very long time.From years people know about this place for the quality and variety in cakes. This time around i would vouch for the new savory they have started. To top that they have dailly menus and i must say visit their insta page to see more options. For foodies this is a must visit place for both sweets and savory. Well done indulge... I am surely visiting again.

I am finally writing a review for one of my favorite😍 cake shop in mulund 😃

Have tried many things from this place. From ordering birthday photo cake years back to personalized engagement cake 💍we have celebrated many occasions with cakes from "Indulge" ☺

They have recently started with savouries which are equally good as their cakes are. 😍

Food items I have tried from savouries-

Paneer kathi roll - Paneer gravy was filled in roll and was yummy and not spicy🌶 Chocolate Almond Florentine - Thin Florentines having a good coating of chocolate on the backside and almond and chocolate on the front. 👍 Chocolate chunk cookie 🍪 - Loads of chocolate was filed in the cookie. The cookie was better then many of the cookies which we get through biscuit or cookie brands. Date khajoor roll - Not much a fan of khajoor hence not really the right person to comment. But tasted good. Custard filed bun - The bun was so soft and there was good filing of custard inside which was not extra sweet and melted in my mouth. Chocolate fudge filed oat and walnut bar- Never heard of oatmeal combined with chocolate and the combination was really great. 👏 Jaggery filed coconut bun - The bun was very soft just like caramel bun and it had good mixture of jaggery and coconut. Chocolate Modak - The outer covering of the modak was of white chocolate and filing of jaggery. This is on their special menu for ganesh chaturthi.

Cake flavours I have tried - Chocolate surprise Dutch truffle Choco chip cake

They have many more savouries on their menu and their daily menu changes and is put up on social media.

Also I would like to highlight that all of their food items are freshly made and hence that adds to the taste. Their packaging is also safe and each item of savoury is packed in foil. Further most of the chocolates, buns are made in house and all their savouries are unique. Never heard of such combination and never thought it would be so great 😋😍
