Jalaram Kathiyawadi Thali — Restaurant in Mumbai

A very good place to eat out lunch, dinner on all days of the week except Monday evening when it's closed for their purchases of groceries and items needed for week long preparation there.

Old uncle at the reception counter is very active for cash collection and receiving parcel orders, while a beautiful lady handles and supervises the servings and orders placements on phone and otherwise.

Food has many versatile items of Gujarati tastes and people are seen licking fingers while eating! Weekdays food is served by full Thali with unlimited food like rotis, rice, daal, two vegetables prepared, salad, pickles,sweet, spicy, chillies fried etc., while Papad and a glass of buttermilk is limited and charged if asked further.

A real home made food is the choice of all locals who come to relish and satisfy their appetite!

A place never to be missed at the entry point of Kandivali West side of fly over towords East, on Swami Vivekanand road.

Many other dishes are there available for eating and enjoying eating out on weekends...

Worst and stale food. Yesterday night we went for dinner here. We ordered two kathiyadi thali of rs 350/- each and one plate khichdi. In thali they gave lasooni The Soni potato sabji which was stale, and I thought that it was more than one day old. Some smell was coming from it, and in khichadi, it was like all Gada- knots type all like lmade in it was clearly showing that khichadi was made either in the morning or maybe one day older and they just place some hot water in the old khichadi, and then they did it hot and gave us. It was the worst food when we complained to the owner who were a lady sitting at on the cash counter, she was telling no no khichadi is made today. Only only it is made in the morning and we ireheat it , we never recommend this restaurant to anybody. They are cheating common public by name of Kathiyawadi food. I am surprised how they got food license. Food experts must visit this place and check...

Food is tasty and without Soda. I felt something missing in service, they don't pay enough attention to customer needs at peak time. Simply tooo much of Oil and Aloo in every dish. They want brisk business as customer is full fast with oil n alloo!! Raw cabbage Bell pepper salad was good, but i felt delicate to ask for more given their body language.

Amras quality this time was not as good as last time. All in all disappointed!! Great potential but not up to it!!!

Was my favorite last time, but downgrading now, due to a frenzieful stressful experience while eating, you almost have to ask for every thing till a point of embarassment.....very disorganised service inside restaurant!!

I think carrying a parcel in own tiffin is a better idea or simply visit Kathiyawadi zaika little ahead on S V Road toward Malad.. . right side. Small but very well...
