Konkan Lunch Home — Restaurant in Mumbai

From Google I expected a more authentic konkan style chill place near my office but when I arrived, it turned out to be a place that is trying to be too many things. The emphasis on the menu was more towards noodles and non-konkan cuisine. It struck this juxtaposition where it does not have the konkan food or feel I was looking for and not being impressive enough to change focus. Personally if a place claiming to be authentic konkun is serving teriyaki fish and noodles I would not want to eat there.

Good restaurant for family and friends, they have AC and Non-AC section. Ambiance is unique and awesome. Food quality is lovely. Here you can get some mouth watering dishes. Must try Oregano Chicken, Afgan Tandoori and Chicken Maharaja. Chicken Maharaja is good for 6 to 7 people, it's main course dish, you can have this with Roti as well as Rice. Also try cheese garlic naan, it's bit costly around 100 rs but it's worth tasting it. Last but not least Solkadhi, loved the way it was served. Staff is very helpful for ordering food, if anyone visits...

I had good time enjoying their starters, place is small but they do serve delicious food. Tried Bombil fry and green chutney(was good one) Dragon prawns in red gravy (was little sweet suggest ask for spiciness) Chicken lollipop were good as they were fried with right crispness.
