Great Food and Atmosphere at Lamba, I recently dined, and I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to eat and relax.
The restaurant has a welcoming and lively atmosphere. The decor is modern and stylish, creating a cozy yet vibrant environment. The seating is comfortable, and the layout is well-designed, making it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The bar area is well-stocked and inviting, with a good selection of drinks to choose from.
The menu at Lamba Restaurant and Bar offers a wide variety of dishes, catering to different tastes and preferences. I was particularly impressed with the quality and flavor of the food. We tried a range of items, including the chicken tandoori, butter chicken, and paneer tikka, all of which were delicious and cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the presentation of the dishes was excellent.
The service at Lamba was another highlight of our visit. The staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient. From taking our orders to serving the food, everything was done promptly and with a smile. The waitstaff were knowledgeable about the menu and made good recommendations, enhancing our dining experience.
The bar service was equally commendable. The bartenders were skilled and made excellent cocktails. The drinks menu had a good variety of options, from classic cocktails to unique house specials. The ambiance of the bar area added to the overall enjoyment of the evening.
One of the standout aspects of Lamba Restaurant and Bar is the value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes of the dishes. It's a great place to enjoy a meal and drinks without breaking the bank.
The only area for improvement would be the noise level during peak hours. The restaurant can get quite busy, and the noise can be a bit overwhelming at times. Implementing some sound-dampening measures could help create a more comfortable dining environment.
In summary, Lamba in Chembur offers great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. While there is room for improvement in managing the noise level, the overall experience is...
Read moreLocated on the Sion-Panvel Highway, this years old joint fights for its identity as an independent #PunjabiDhaba run under the name #LambaRestaurant&Bar. Split into 3 sections, 1 Bar section, 1 Family Room and the Open Air seating outside the restaurant. With the smell of the Tandoor attracting passerby's there is no doubt that this restaurant specializes in the North-Indian menu. With definitely some exciting sea food options. The Hungryman suggests you to try the #KoliwadaPrawns which are a wonderful preparation here. Also the #TandooriChicken is excellent to taste, but beware sometimes, you might end up spotting some uncleaned #Chicken or drops of blood in it. The #ReshmiKebab looks like if you received a portion of #KalimiriTikka but when you taste it, it is one of the finest Reshmi Tikka's. Moving to the main course obivously the #ButterChicken is one of the favorite of options, but do not miss the #ChickenDoPyaaza for it. A well cooked dish with perfectly merinated Chicken, is a treat to the taste buds, with an appropriate mix of Onions (Pyaaz) , capsicum and obviously the well marinated Chicken. The #Hungryman was satisfied with the food and will come back, not sure if i will definitely return but the experience was a pleasant one. Thank you #LambaRestaurantandBar for your great hospitality and...
Read moreLamba has a lot of sweet childhood memories associated to itself; I remember absolutely loving this place as a child for the most delicious Fish Tikka biryani! Recently got a chance to dine here for my mother's birthday and was very excited to hog on Koliwada Fish & Prawns & my favorite biryani.
The Koliwada Fish & Prawns tasted yummy however the portion size was ridiculously small - it was barely enough for 3 people.
Now coming to the Fish Tikka biryani, I was a bit disappointed in the taste because it didn't taste as good as it used to be. Either the taste has really changed drastically or my taste buds have evolved! We also tried the Prawns biryani which tasted decent. Overall, the biryani portions were also less but we kinda expected that after seeing the starters.
They also don't serve Raita with the biryani so we had to purchase it on the side.
The staff was courteous and the place has also been renovated but the little girl in me is just sad that the Fish Tikka Biryani is no longer the same! I'd still go here for the Koliwada Fish/ Prawns -...
