Lime & Spice( Dahisar) — Restaurant in Mumbai

We entered the restaurant with great expectation. The place is a simple bar and restaurant.

Atmosphere - great Service - great Food - tastes great.....but most of the dishes we wanted to have were not available, that was a complete let down. The waiter also didn't have an idea that they were not available till he went to punch in the orders.... imagine replacing the order and coming back 3 times saying not available.... got annoying ..

We convinced ourselves some how to continue as the waiter had already served the drinks... tried their chinese and indian tandoori dishes which was good... but the indian tandoori dishes were a little on the expensive end.

Overall is was a good experience with food , drinks , ambience and service.

Availability of dishes and little presence of mind on part of the waiter would surely get...

Horrible experience, I ordered for dinner from Lime & Spice and in particular asked to avoid any dairy (milk, fresh cream or cheese), I in particular told the order taker that I want food that doesn't contain the above and he promised me that he will double check and will make sure that he gives food without dairy I trusted him. To my horror when I opened the packet the kababs that I ordered were garnished with melted cheese. I mean due to some health issues I've been asked to avoid dairy and here I get a garnished kabab with cheese.

After I called the order taker was surprised and just said sorry. How ridiculous was that.

I wonder who puts cheese when told not to have any dairy products in food. Never again will want to order from this place.

We were asked to wait for 5 mins to get in but had to wait 30 mins to get a table. The staff was paying attention only to the couples and families. It took half an hour for the first dish to arrive at our table and that too when we had to remind them that we were also a customer. We asked the waiter to send the manager to the table. He said Yes and then nobody showed up at our table. They totally started ignoring us. The Chicken Bhatti dish was half cooked which shows it was prepared haphazardly after we complained. And nobody had the courtesy to even come and address the issue. Totally unprofessional behavior by the staff. Not...
