Authentic kokani food. Bombay duck was the best. Pomplet thali was good too. Fresh fish assured.

I recently discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant serving authentic Konkani cuisine, and I'm so glad I did! It's simple restaurant with basic setup.

The food was outstanding - each dish was carefully prepared and presented with love. I tried the pomplet Fish thali with Rice and bombay duck fish fry, and it was a flavor explosion in my mouth! The spices were just right, and the fish was cooked to perfection. I also had the Sol Kadhi, which was refreshing and tangy.

The service was warm and attentive, with the owner happy to explain the different dishes and make recommendations. The prices were very reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality and quantity of food.

A near, tidy and affordable place right in the middle of Hindamata-Dadar market. Its location and ambience doesn't feel like it's built for a leisurely dine-in but let me assure you that their food will more than make up for it. The place is neat, clean and hygienic. The thalis they offer are very reasonably priced considering the quality they deliver. I found that the fishes they serve are consistently fresh and property cooked. I would recommend their bobay duck fry (bombil fry) thali and Kombadi wade thali for first timers. I'm not sure why everyone awarded this place five stars. I made a mistake by coming to this restaurant, which cost me money. The food quality was the worst, the amount was the worse, and the environment was quite terrible. Sol kadi was so spicy that it burned our throats after just one taste. When I informed the manager he said that's how we make it and everyone liked it. THE MANAGER WAS LITERALLY SMOKING CIGARETTE IN THE KITCHEN AREA. I took a video of that One customer directly went inside the kitchen after placing the order. I have been to many restaurants but this had sol kadi this spicy with no taste, Surman had less white meat and more black meat and in bombil there was not meat.
