Trupti Ahar — Restaurant in Mumbai

A place to enjoy authentic Malvani delicacies. Served fresh and hot! Tasty, though a bit pricy. You get preparations of chicken, mutton, fish, crabs, mussel, etc. The staff is courteous and efficient. Not understood why the restaurant serves chinese preparations as well.

It is a small place accommodating not more than 40-odd guests at a time. It is a no-frills place. The main restaurant is supposedly air-conditioned and you can notice temperature of 18C displayed. But really speaking the room temperature is nowhere near that and you can see the customers requesting to put on the fans. Due to high onion prices, they are serving chopped onions with chopped cabbage!

Situated in a small lane, getting space for parking your car is a challenge.

Yesterday i visited this place.... I am going to this place since 5-6 years and everytime i found tasty food here...I am fan of this place & their food but yesterday i found all chinese food highly salty i told the waiter about it but the next food was also bit salty.. they didn't take any action about it... and after payment i talked with owner about taste of food but i feel bad that they didn't even apologise for it... i also run food business so i know everyday is not same,sometimes things happen but for us customer is everything and by behaviour of their owner i have lost my favourite food joint...

I am going to this place for last 4 years . Today I found whole cockroach baked in chicken gravy served without even notice by the the waiter. After we confronted the owner about the incident, she just casually put blame on light as the insects get attracted towards it. She won’t even apologise for the incident. My suggestion would be not to visit the place or either report it to food safety...
