Mitran Da Dhaba — Restaurant in Mumbai

Mitran da dhaba finally!!!!...a heaven for the foodies where taste is everything a little bit of compromise on the ambience but to get that dhaba wali feeling this is the place in Bhandup next to LBS marg.Without burning a hole in your pocket you will this place after a lot of chicken dinner with a happy stomach.Yes they do serve veg dishes as well.

Food:

1. Chicken tandoori - an all time favorite for chicken lovers served hot and spicy.

2. Chicken potta - never heard of this dish before but seeing the reviews about it went ahead for this one and it was simply amazing ..crispy and crunchy ..in no time it got finished.

3. Chicken lollypop - who doesn't loves this dish and to our surprise they were huge in size.

4. Chicken garlic kebab - soft and tender chicken properly cooked dipped in garlic gravy making it mouth watering

5. Chicken banjara kebab - these once were irresistible with cheese garnished on top of it.

6. Chicken tikka biryani - although it tasted good but didn't lived up to the expectations we had.

7. Chicken Manchurian rice - properly cooked rice with enough of gravy and chicken floating inside.

Ambience - sometimes its better to ditch the ambience and much on the food.But yes seating for group of people is available if you go early.

Service - It was quick and fast which made us order more and more.

I have always been a loyal customer, but today’s experience left me deeply disappointed. My wife and I dined in and ordered a fish fry, only to be served a dish that was completely rotten and had a sour taste. Naturally, this upset me, so I brought it to the waiter’s attention and requested a replacement. Instead of addressing the issue, he offered a ridiculous excuse, claiming that they had used a different type of fish, which accounted for the difference in taste. As a regular customer familiar with the taste of the Rawas fish I had ordered, I knew this was untrue. It felt like an attempt to deceive me, which was highly frustrating. When my concern was not resolved, I escalated the matter to the owner, expecting a more considerate response. Unfortunately, he repeated the same excuse without taking my complaint seriously. It was evident that he was aware of the situation but chose to dismiss my concerns entirely. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. In other reputable restaurants, one complaint about poor-quality food would be taken seriously, and they would apologize and replace the dish without hesitation. These are establishments that value customer service and genuinely care about their patrons' experiences. a place where friends with moderate budget can enjoy some really tasty food with the ambience that would remind them of the road side dhaba that exists only on highways or outside the city limits."Mind you, not everything you eat here is tasty as it is known for its non-vegetarian specialities".

Eateries to wake your taste buds and soul : Chicken Kheema Paratha, Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Kebabs (pahadi, malai etc), Chicken Lollipop Biriyani, Paneer Paratha, Liver-Potta Fry... are some of them....

unfortunately we did not get a chance to get our hands on any of the above...

what we tried and were very happy with were, Paneer Paratha _ medium tasty spicy paneer kheema stuffed in the lovely and we'll cooked paratha..

hmm what next.. yeah Malai Paneer tikka kebab... a bit on the sweeter side as the name suggests, served with a kind of russian salad (veggies mixed with mayo)

and lastly the veg sezuan rice...mumbai style chinese rice...medium spicy and tasty ..

I owe a nother visit to this place to try the non vegetarian dishes mentioned and will surely post them before I eat it out loud 😋😎...
