New York Burrito Company (kandivali west)

This is a part of a chain of outlets, we decided to order from kandivali outlet. Their menu consists of Mainly Burritos, Nachos and Burgers. We decided to opt for Tasty and healthy options for delivery.

In frame – Guacamole Burger and Super Nachos.

1. Guacamole Burger - (5/5) This is one of the healthier options around for a burger, neatly packed with the layers being intact. The Bun used was very soft which makes it compliment the ingredients and giving it a subtle taste. The black bean patty was well cooked, crispy, and combined beautifully with the cheese and other ingredients which enhanced the taste further. The guacamole made from fresh avocados is definitely the highlight hands down as it blended in subtly to add to the overall feel and taste of Burger as a whole.

2. Super Nachos - (5/5): This a Classic dish for all the Nachos lovers all around, and this one brings in a healthier quotient to it. There’s loads of fresh and healthy ingredients coupled with the exclusive and amazing sauces which not only taste amazingly well but will also satiate your taste buds. The guacamole is refreshing and so are the crisp and perfect tortilla chips . This is in all ways is a classic dish.

Final verdict, definitely recommended to try out the entire range. The proportion of food portion is good and so is the quality. Beware of False Billing and Dishonest Practices!

I wish I could give this place a zero-star rating. My recent experience was appalling, and I feel compelled to warn others.

I ordered a Burrito combo (advertised at ₹499) and a burger (₹299) from their menu. The cashier quoted me ₹980. Trusting them, I paid ₹1000 cash. They didn't have ₹20 change and offered extra guacamole instead, which I reluctantly accepted.

The service was incredibly slow, even though I was the only customer. The burrito seemed smaller than initially mentioned (11 inches, they claimed), and they explained that some portion was folded inside. This explanation felt dubious.

My suspicions were confirmed when I finally asked for the invoice which they generally don't give to all customers. The combo was charged at ₹599, not ₹499, and there was an additional ₹35 charge for a "wheat burrito."

When I questioned the discrepancies, the staff initially blamed "the system" and then shifted blame to the cashier. I pointed out that even if there was a charge for a wheat burrito, I was served a plain flour one. They then admitted it was a "chef's mistake" and offered a measly ₹35 refund.

This establishment is clearly engaging in deceptive practices. The staff is unprofessional and dishonest. To add insult to injury, the food was stale and cold. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place at all costs. They are cheaters, and the entire experience...
