Absolutely the Worst Experience Ever
I don't even know where to begin. This was, hands down, the worst service I’ve ever received at any food stall in my life. I ordered a simple pasta — something they supposedly specialize in — and it was a disaster from start to finish.
First of all, the staff were rude and completely uninterested. I stood at the counter for five minutes before anyone even acknowledged me, and when they finally did, the attitude was unbearable, like I was inconveniencing them by existing.
Then comes the food. If you can even call it that. The pasta was soggy, drowning in watery sauce, and tasted like it came from a can. I’ve had better microwave meals. To make it worse, it was barely warm — as if it had been sitting around for hours.
When I politely asked if they could remake it or at least heat it properly, the guy just rolled his eyes and muttered something under his breath. No apology, no effort, nothing. I ended up tossing the whole thing in the trash. Total waste of money.
Avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy paying for cold, flavorless food and getting treated like garbage. Disgusting food, disgusting service....

While the food at Saras was decent, the overall dining experience left much to be desired—primarily due to their shocking choice of cutlery. Despite being a restaurant, they serve food on disposable plates with wooden spoons, something that even most street vendors have moved away from in recent times. It completely takes away from the comfort and experience of dining out. If I wanted to eat off throwaway utensils, I’d have opted for takeaway or a quick snack stall. For a sit-down restaurant, this is simply unacceptable and reflects poorly on their standards. Definitely not what I expected, and it makes me think twice about returning. Also, the place did not feel clean. It looked unhygienic and not well-maintained. They really need to take care of cleanliness. The restaurant needs an upgrade. I expected a much...

On 26th April, we ordered takeaway of two JAIN Italian Rice from Saras food Mahavir Nagar for a small family dinner. Upon opening and serving one plate we found a dead cockroach 🪳 in the food. After contacting the hotel initially the owner Mr Bathija didn't agree to the fact and was arguing that it must be basil leaf. After escalating the issue and getting angry he immediately offers to just give a mere replacement of the food product without even being apologetic & trying to brush such a lapse in quality control under the rug. He was so ignorant about it as if it was a small error like not putting salt in it. Serving food infested with cockroach to Jain customers is really not acceptable.
Kindly find the images below and recommend how to contact the food safety officer to send the food for...
