Read moreNice ambiance in general, but make sure you choose the right cozy place to sit else you will be disturbed by the loud noises of the drunken group tables ruining your experience. Happy hours last upto 7.29 pm, had opted for pint beer ( 2+1), make sure to keep a count of your beers , else during clearance of the bottles , one of our 1/4th filled pint bottle was very cleverly picked up in the name of clearance by a service personnel Mr Melroy , when we tried to stop him he quickly ran into the aisle amidst the loud noise...they think that guest get drunk and don't notice...trust me guest are more aware than a service personnel and especially if the guest is also from the service industry!!!.also the beer was served in a bucket which had water and no ice and when asked about the same, the clever service personnel Mr Melroy mentioned that it's always served that way. Just 15 mins before the happy hours could end we ordered another round of beers , the order was punched but the service personnel was pretentious, when questioned he went back checking and then offered 2 more beers and kept the third beer on hold and mentioned that it's chilling , what rubbish! He thought we would forget about that beer but we kept insisting on getting the bottle to the table and finally after nearly 10 mins the bottle was brought to the table. All these unnecessary extra smart service hurdles can be avoided if one just does what they're supposed and trained to do..GUEST ARE NOT FOOLS... Rest the food...
Read moreWent to this outlet to celebrate our special day. I think the experience could have been enhanced. Talking about the ambiance, the outlet was too small. On the other hand, the crowd was decent enough. Had ordered for Tom yum soup and Manchow soup. Tom yum soup was not very appealing and had only 2 pea sized chicken pieces. Manchow soup was too thick. Moroccan style chicken was our next dish on the table. The plate had 8 pieces of chicken served. Perfectly cooked and well spiced. Lastly, I ordered Chicken Shaslik sizzler. Have tried this dish in different outlets and completely different restaurants. We liked it so much that we chose to order here as well. However, it turned out to be a complete disappointment. Have visited the Malad outlet in the past, and that was much much better than Vileparle. After such a disaster, I didn't want to order for more. Not to forget, we also ordered a kids platter, which was yet another disappointment. The only thing good in the platter was the brownie. The mashed potato was ok, the pasta was flavorless, the nuggets were nice and crisp, french fries were not exceptional, the milkshake was a laughter in the platter not even 100ml. That's how we spent our evening. A complete waste I must say. Maybe it was not our day at Pop...
