I recently dined at Shiv Sagar Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. This place is a gem for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine, and it certainly did not disappoint.

Upon arriving, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant was bustling with activity, yet the service was prompt and efficient. The decor was simple yet inviting, which set the perfect mood for a casual dining experience.

I decided to try two of their highly recommended dishes: the Mysore Masala Dosa and the Pav Bhaji.

Mysore Masala Dosa: The Mysore Masala Dosa at Shiv Sagar is nothing short of spectacular. The dosa was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a generous filling of spiced mashed potatoes. What truly set it apart was the Mysore chutney, which added a delightful tangy and spicy kick to each bite. The dosa was served with a variety of chutneys and a bowl of sambar, each complementing the dosa perfectly. The flavors were well-balanced, and the dosa was cooked to perfection. It's clear that the chefs at Shiv Sagar have mastered the art of dosa-making.

Pav Bhaji: Next, I tried the Pav Bhaji, and it was, without a doubt, one of the best I've ever had. The bhaji (vegetable curry) was rich, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice. It was cooked to a perfect consistency, not too thick or too runny, and was bursting with flavors of fresh vegetables and aromatic spices. The pav (bread rolls) were soft, buttery, and toasted to a golden brown, making them the perfect accompaniment to the bhaji. The dish was served with a side of chopped onions and a wedge of lemon, adding a refreshing crunch and a hint of acidity to each bite. The generous portion sizes were a pleasant surprise, ensuring that I left the restaurant fully satisfied.

Overall, my experience at Shiv Sagar Restaurant was outstanding. The quality of the food, the warm and inviting ambiance, and the excellent service make it a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors. The Mysore Masala Dosa and Pav Bhaji were both exceptional, and I can't wait to return to try more items from their extensive menu. Shiv Sagar has certainly earned its reputation as one of the best places to enjoy...

A Delightful Culinary Experience at Shiv Sagar Veg Restaurant

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shiv Sagar Veg Restaurant, and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations. From the delectable food to the warm and attentive staff, my experience was nothing short of fantastic.

First and foremost, let's talk about the food. I had the opportunity to try their White Pasta, and it was absolutely delicious. The pasta was cooked to perfection, tender yet firm, and the creamy white sauce was rich and flavorful. It was evident that the chefs at Shiv Sagar Veg Restaurant take great pride in their culinary skills, as every bite was a burst of heavenly flavors.

Apart from the scrumptious food, what truly made my visit memorable was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The waitstaff were attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist with a smile. They took the time to explain the menu options and made excellent recommendations, ensuring that every guest's preferences were catered to.

The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, further adding to the overall dining experience. The interior was well-maintained, with comfortable seating arrangements and a pleasant atmosphere. It was evident that the management pays great attention to detail, creating a welcoming environment for their guests.

Another aspect worth mentioning is the promptness of the service. Despite the restaurant being busy, my order was served in a timely manner, and the staff ensured that I had everything I needed throughout my meal. The efficiency of the service was commendable and added to the overall positive experience.

Overall, Shiv Sagar Veg Restaurant is a gem when it comes to serving delicious vegetarian food, and I highly recommend it to all food enthusiasts. Whether you're a pasta lover or looking to explore their diverse menu options, this restaurant is sure to satisfy your cravings. The combination of delectable food, warm and attentive staff, and excellent service creates an unforgettable dining experience. I look forward to my next visit to Shiv Sagar Veg Restaurant to indulge in their delightful offerings once...

Ambiance and Location: Shiv Sagar, nestled in the bustling Vile Parle Market of Mumbai, stands out as a culinary haven for South Indian cuisine enthusiasts. The restaurant, with its modest yet inviting decor, exudes a warm and welcoming vibe. It's an ideal spot for both young and old, reflecting the diverse cultural fabric of Mumbai.

Cuisine and Menu: What sets Shiv Sagar apart is its impressive array of healthy and delectable South Indian dishes, alongside a selection of North Indian favorites. Their menu is a delightful blend of traditional flavors and contemporary preparation. The South Indian dishes, in particular, are a celebration of authentic tastes, with each dish bringing out the rich culinary heritage of the region.

Signature Dishes and Recommendations: Their Masala Dosa and Rava Idli are must-tries, perfectly crisp and served with a trio of chutneys and a savory sambar. For those looking for something from the north, their Paneer Butter Masala and Dal Tadka are equally commendable, capturing the essence of North Indian flavors.

Service and Staff: The service at Shiv Sagar deserves a special mention. The staff are courteous and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Despite the crowd, which is a testament to the restaurant's popularity, the service remains efficient and prompt.

Hygiene and Safety: In these times, the emphasis on hygiene is paramount, and Shiv Sagar adheres strictly to safety and cleanliness protocols. This attention to detail extends to the kitchen, where the utmost care is taken to prepare food in the most hygienic conditions.

Value for Money: The pricing is reasonable, offering good value for the quality and quantity of food served. This aspect, combined with the overall dining experience, makes Shiv Sagar a go-to destination for those seeking a taste of South India in Mumbai.

Final Verdict: In conclusion, Shiv Sagar in Vile Parle Market is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary journey through the flavors of South and North India. Whether you're a local or just passing through Mumbai, a meal at Shiv Sagar is sure to leave you with a memorable and...

Shiv Sagar veg Restaurant – Delicious Food with a Price Tag to Match Shiv Sagar Restaurant is well-known for its delicious vegetarian offerings, and my experience was no different. The flavors were absolutely amazing, particularly in the veg main course dishes like the perfectly spiced Aloo Methi and the rich, flavorful Paneer Kolhapuri. For South Indian food lovers, the Udupi Masala Dosa was a delight, with a crispy texture and a tangy, authentic chutney pairing. The curd rice was another standout, served chilled and refreshing—a perfect way to end the meal. However, the portion sizes left a bit to be desired. The quantity of food seemed to have been reduced, which was disappointing given the high prices. Paying ₹44 for a single tandoori roti and almost ₹400 for a veg main course in the non-AC section felt steep. While the food quality undoubtedly scores high, the pricing does take away some of the charm. Pros: • Exceptional taste, especially the Aloo Methi and Paneer items . • South Indian specialties like Masala Dosa and curd rice are must-tries. • Quick and efficient service. Cons: • Pricey for a non-AC vegetarian dining experience. • Smaller portion sizes compared to the cost. Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) Shiv Sagar Restaurant delivers on flavor and variety but falls short when it comes to value for money. If you don’t mind spending a bit extra for great vegetarian food, it’s worth a visit!

This outlet is very close to vile parle station. Shiv Sagar has been around for ages & still is buzzing with crowds throughout the week. Their Pav Bhajji, Masala Pav, veg cheese pizza, veg crispy & Falooda are my personal favourites & shouldn’t be missed when you visit any outlet. We ordered idli , Mysore masala dosa, Special Pav Bhajji with extra pav, cheese masala pav, veg crispy, cheese nachos ( which was a let down ) & sizzling brownie with vanilla ice cream 🍨 In drinks we ordered their famous Shiv Sagar dry fruit Falooda & Royal Falooda. Staff is quick to serve but service is slow once the place is packed. Shiv Sagar serves sizzlers, nachos, pasta’s since a while now & the items are good but don’t match up to the standard of other places that specialise in that cuisine. I prefer the pav Bhajji, pizzas, sandwiches, Chinese starters & Falooda here which is mouth watering. If you haven’t visited Shiv Sagar yet your missing out on delicious Food which is pricey but tastes amazing.
