Sanyas Ashram in Mumbai is truly a serene haven that captures the essence of tranquility and spirituality. As a student from India, I had the opportunity to visit this remarkable place, and it left an indelible mark on my heart.

The moment I stepped into the ashram, I was greeted by an aura of peace that instantly put me at ease. The lush green surroundings and the soothing sounds of nature blended seamlessly with my love for lofi music. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of student life.

The accommodations were comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally warm and hospitable. The spiritual teachings and yoga sessions offered here were enlightening, making it a unique educational experience outside of the traditional classroom.

While I may be passionate about becoming a full-stack developer and an airplane pilot, visiting Sanyas Ashram reminded me of the importance of balance and inner peace. It's a place I could talk about for hours, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a respite from...

One of the best Temples in the western suburbs of Mumbai (in my view) because it's not crowded but still large covers most gods and goddess from Indian mythology so you can celebrate every festival. I've been coming here since I was 3/4 yrs old, so that can be a reason for the attachment but somehow I find immense peace at this place. The vibes of the Ashram can be felt right away. My spouse has also fallen in love with it. I was here on the occasion of Mahashivratri and the Shiv Ling on top of the artificial mountain climb is a special attraction. There was a que for it which is also rare but good to see people discover this place all over again. It's inside Vile Parle West between SV road and the railway tracks right after the Juhu Tara Road crossing. The entry road is a narrow set of lanes but we usually manage to drive in as they do have a good parking space in front of the temple. Celebrate your next festival with a visit to this...

Sanyas Ashram

The spiritual headquarters of Sanyas Ashram was first established 375 years ago at Suratgiri Bangla, Kankhal, Haridwar, Uttrakhand, India along the Vedic lines of the holy Dashnami Tradition as propagated by Jagadguru Shri Adi Shankaracharya. The ninth Pontiff (Peethadhishwar) of the holy lineage of this tradition His Holines Brahmleen Shri 1008 Mahamandleshwar Swami Maheshwaranand Giri Ji Maharaj first came to Mumbai in mid-1940s and laid the foundation of Sanyas Ashram on 20th January 1945 in the suburb of Vile Parle (West) for propagation of Sanatan Dharma or universal virtues amongst mankind. The fledging Ashram became a full-fledged temple complex in 1952 when the Prana Pratistha of various life-like and life-size deities was performed. Shri Swami Ji Maharaj left for eternal journey on 01st May 1970 at the holy...
