Raju's kitchen — Restaurant in Mumbai

I had a deeply disappointing experience at this restaurant today. During my visit, I discovered a strand of hair in my food—an issue that raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety. Naturally, I reported the matter to the manager, expecting a prompt and professional response.

Unfortunately, the manager's reaction only added to my frustration. Instead of acknowledging the lapse and taking ownership, he casually brushed off the complaint, stating that the restaurant was "too crowded" and it was "difficult to maintain hygiene despite their best efforts." This kind of reasoning is unacceptable in the food industry, where hygiene should be non-negotiable, regardless of customer volume.

What was more disheartening was the apparent disregard for customer feedback and the absence of any attempt to rectify the situation—no apology, no corrective action, not even a gesture of goodwill. It seemed like the root of the problem lies in poor management choices, including the possible employment of inadequately trained or underpaid staff. Cutting corners on staffing directly impacts service quality and cleanliness, and unfortunately, this was quite evident during my visit.

I've been a loyal customer of Raju's Kitchen in Bhayander for years, both through Zomato and in-person visits. However, my recent experience on October 2nd was incredibly disappointing.

Despite arriving at 9:30 PM, it took over an hour for our food to arrive. When it finally did, we were met with incorrect orders and subpar quality. The "chopper rice" was nothing like what I've ordered before, and the Manchurian was dry and lacked flavor.

To add insult to injury, the service was terrible. The staff seemed uninterested and indifferent to our complaints. It's clear that Raju's Kitchen has lost its touch and is no longer the reliable eatery it once was. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place and seeking out...

Raju's kitchen (ashokvan) is a must visit place. This place is known for its non veg and veg chinese dishes and other options. The quantity and quality of food is unquestionable. I tried the vegetarian option and i was not at all disappointed... Their chinese had a very delicious and different taste... I could easily distinguish between two dishes..with no same taste.
