Travancore Cafe — Restaurant in Mumbai

[1] 11 out of 25 items were missing from the Sadhya delivered by 2 pm against d commitment of 12.30 noon. The curries sent were of such miserable quantities that they weren't enough for even a proper mouthful! [2] The sambar sent was stale!!! How can an establishment do this to customers?!?! [3] Had shared all details with Mr. Nitin Raj (the coordinator/ in charge) but no response! After receiving the payment, he didn't pick up any calls or reply to messages despite seeing them! [4] THIS WAS THE MOST DISSAPOINTING ONAM IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Was hoping for a filling and delicious Sadhya for INR 650/- but was sent this excuse of a meal! [5] Fed up with the inertness, finally decided to go to the restaurant. Was shocked on seeing the current "restaurant" operating in a Chawl with 2 name boards for the same unit!! The "hotel" was not at all hygienic or organized and was just a facade for them to run their business. There was no FSSAI number on their board either!!! (Pic attached) [6] Nitin left the place on seeing us crossing the lane presumably towards his house. [7] Again he didn't pick our calls up or reply to any messages. Fed up, we left the place.

A suggestion to all the customers who got robbed in broad daylight- that let's form a forum and file a case in the consumer court. The gall to cheat so many customers at once is appalling. We should ensure this isn't repeated again. With our united efforts I think it would be possible to do the same. More than the quality and quantity of the food it's about the poor service and the thinly veiled cheating that they have...

Worst experience ever. NEVER ORDERING AGAIN.

I placed the order for sadhya on whatsapp at 11.45 on vishu.now I am writing the review on 2 45 same day after battling for refund till now.i didn't get the package delivered in 1 hr likethey promised...then I tried to contact the person to whom I paid...more the 15 calls I made..he didn't pick up..I found other numbers and tried contacting them...after 2 hrs ...I got msg saying sorry for the inconvenience...I asked for refund and I had to fight for it for the rest of the time.

I don't knw whether their food is good or not. Because I never got what I ordered. But I can advise any one who is looking for delivery directly through the restaurant NOT to do that

NEVER ORDER FOOD FROM THEM. They would have surely looted me if I was not adamant abt getting my money back. But they made my festive day MISERABLE enough for 3 hrs...

So I request anyone going through reviews to order food from them directly to considered my experience and if u r ordering be ready to face...

One can order same dish and get different quantity and quality each time. I have ordered veg thali (banana leaf thali) 3 times. At the beginning when the restaurant was new the taste was amazing, quantity was sufficient after few months, taste was okay but after lockdown it's gonna down a lot. In Veg thali you will get total of 7 items each just like 1 tablespoon😂 (other than rice). Really I was surprised to see sambhar quantity. Most important in Kerala veg thali is sambhar and avial, avail was okay but sambhar 😂 not even to understand the taste. Very bad experience after the Onam Sadhya which was also worthless, advertised as 24 items for ₹500 and received 8 which you can get in ₹100. So sad how quantity has degraded. Very...
