A Mixed Bag Experience**

I recently stayed at the Gokulanand Hotel and had a mixed experience overall. Let me break it down for you:

Pros:

Free Breakfast in Room: One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast served right in the room. It was a delightful start to the day and added a touch of luxury to the stay.

Location: The hotel's location is quite convenient, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping centers. It made exploring the area hassle-free.

Toiletries: The hotel provides a range of toiletries, which was a nice touch and added to the convenience of the stay. It's always appreciated when hotels go the extra mile to provide such amenities.

Cons:

Costly: One of the major drawbacks of Gokulanand Hotel is its pricing. While the amenities and services offered are decent, the cost seems a bit steep for what you get. It might not be the most budget-friendly option for travelers.

Bit Old: The hotel feels a bit dated in terms of decor and furnishings. While everything was functional, it lacked the modern touch that many travelers look for in accommodations. A renovation or update could greatly improve the overall ambiance.

Not So Clean: I noticed that the cleanliness of the hotel could be improved. There were some areas that seemed a bit neglected, and a more thorough cleaning would definitely enhance the guest experience.

In conclusion, while the Gokulanand Hotel has its positives like the convenient location, complimentary breakfast, and provided toiletries, it falls short in areas such as cleanliness, outdated decor, and high pricing. Depending on your priorities and budget, it may or may not be the best choice for your stay...

This is a very convenient hotel to stay especially if you are catching an early morning bus or train towards gujarat, north india , rajasthan and mp.- western railway. The room categories are ac small room with ac for 2-3 members and little ac bigger rooms for 4-5 members with attached bathroom and toilet with TV.There is a bar and restaurant down where the food is excellent. The rooms are clean away from the noisy streets even though it is located on the highway.borivali station by auto will be around 30 rupees 10 minutes and to the main bus stand on highway around 25 rupees.best thing is that it is located as a transit hotel on the western express highway for travellers enroute.service is very good and timely. If you are looking for luxury then this is not the place.if you are looking to spend 1-2 nights to attend a function or in transit then this is the best place . dahisar is about 40-45 kms from colaba or south mumbai.||Pros-Location in western suburbs-close to station and bus stand.||Food and services in the restaurant below is excellent.reception staff is good and efficient.||Cons- Room size is just okay not for large families as they may have to take multiple rooms .No wifi facility.||Overall rating - 7 on 10.||The room size and the no wifi takes away...

My 85-year-old mother and I visited Mumbai to attend my master's annual spiritual program at Mira Road from January 5th to January 7th, 2024. I'd like to share my experience with the hotel during our stay.

On the evening of January 6th, around 6:15, my close friend, who is like a brother to me, came to visit us at the hotel. However, the hotel reception promptly denied him permission to come up to our room, citing a rule that prohibits visitors. It would be more appropriate if such rules were clearly communicated during the reservation process.

Since my friend couldn't join us in the room, we opted to spend time in the hotel restaurant from 6:15 pm until around 10 pm. We ordered dinner, incurring a bill of approximately Rs 1200. Additionally, we ordered desserts amounting to Rs 300 and coffee worth Rs 100 during our restaurant stay. At around 9 pm, when we requested water, the waiter responded rudely, stating that we couldn't sit in the restaurant for four hours. Moreover, the waiter suggested that we should tip Rs 50 to Rs 100, almost demanding a tip.

Despite the spiritual nature of our trip, I chose not to escalate the situation and ignored the incidents. However, I would not recommend this hotel for a family stay due to these...

We visited the place for breakfast on a Sunday morning while travelling for city tour. It adjoins a hotel and believe both of these are run by the same people. The ambience is average and the seating arrangement is also like average. We ordered the following: Idli vada with chutney and sambhar which was very good in taste; Misal pav which was not very spicy and good taste as well; along with potato vada to eat along with misal pav. We had tea and coffee. The menu looked good with good options of items. Overall the taste was good and service was also quick. I felt the cost was a bit pricey but I guess that's how it is in Mumbai. There's good parking facility and restroom, which although isn't much clean. Overall a good place for a pitstop.
